Thomas Müller equals Manuel Neuer’s Bundesliga record for most wins
Thomas Müller equalled the Bundesliga record for most games won, previously held by Manuel Neuer, with Bayern Munich’s 3-0 victory over Freiburg on Matchday 7.
It was the 322nd win of Müller's long and distinguished career, which already includes an outright record 12 Bundesliga titles, and came in his 448th appearance in Germany’s top flight – all with Bayern.
Of those 448 games, the 34-year-old native Bavarian has started 386, scoring 144 goals and providing almost 200 assists to help cement his legendary status in German and world football.

Watch: Bundesliga records from 60 years

A broken leg in December has left 37-year-old Neuer’s career on hold for the time being and stuck on 322 wins from 478 appearances across stints with Schalke and Bayern, meaning Müller reached the same total in 30 games fewer.
The pair of long-time club and international teammates will no doubt continue to extend this record and vie for the right to claim it for the remainder of this season at least.
