Philippe Coutinho undergoes successful ankle surgery
Bayern Munich's Brazilian playmaker has taken the chance to undergo an operation on his ankle while Bundesliga play is suspended due to the coronavirus.

The surgery saw loose joint fragments removed from Coutinho's right ankle, according to Bayern's website. The 27-year-old will begin his rehabilitation programme in around two weeks.
Coutinho - who is on loan at Bayern from Barcelona until the end of the 2019/20 season - has eight goals and six assists to his name across 22 Bundesliga appearances so far this campaign.
