With a direct hand in 63 Bundesliga goals between them halfway into 2019/20, it's no surprise that Robert Lewandowski, Timo Werner and Jadon Sancho feature in the official Bundesliga Fantasy Manager Team of the Season so far.

Yann Sommer
Club: Borussia Mönchengladbach
Position: Goalkeeper
Price: 11.3M
Points: 118

Yann Sommer has provided the foundation for Borussia Mönchengladbach's title tilt. The Foals' ever-present last line of defence, Sommer has conceded a league-low 18 Bundesliga goals after 17 matches, whilst racking up 75 points for saves made. He's also nearly 2M cheaper than Bayern Munich counterpart Manuel Neuer (13.9M, 97 points).

Joshua Kimmich
Club: Bayern Munich
Position: Defender
Price: 18.6M
Points: 183

Joshua Kimmich was the Bundesliga's second best assist provider last season, but it's his passes-to-a-shot count and tackles-won ratio that make up the bulk of his haul (66 and 60 points respectively). On the flip side, he's dropped 22 points for goals conceded as part, or in front, of a makeshift Bayern defence, and will sit out the Matchday 18 meeting with Hertha Berlin through suspension.

Christian Günter
Club: Freiburg
Position: Defender
Price: 12.7M
Points: 182

Freiburg's unexpected high-flying start to the season owes much to captain Christian Günter. He's won more points for goal attempts (28) than tackles won (26), garnered 72 for passes to a shot and weighed in with one goal and five assists. He won't break the bank, either.

Philipp Max
Club: Augsburg
Position: Defender
Price: 12.8M
Points: 176

The same applies to Philipp Max, though his price tag has been rising fast on account of his goal-fuelled end to 2019. Listed as a defender, Augsburg's left-sided raider has hit Max power in a more advanced role, racking up 30 points for six goals and 20 for his four assists alone.

Jadon Sancho
Club: Borussia Dortmund
Position: Midfielder
Price: 19.4M
Points: 185

Sancho's popularity in Fantasy circles took a hit following a six-match run without a goal, exacerbated by off-field issues. He'd got off to a flier, too, with three goals and five assists across his first five outings of the campaign. Happily for those managers who kept faith - not to mention Dortmund - the England international contracted the scoring bug in mid-November, producing six goals and four assists between Matchdays 12-16.

Serge Gnabry
Club: Bayern Munich
Position: Midfielder
Price: 17.4M
Points: 201

If you don't want to part with over 19M on Sancho or you're simply anti-BVB, look no further than Serge Gnabry. The Bayern winger guarantees a healthy return of points, even when he's not sticking away goals himself or directly assisting Lewandowski. Goal attempts and passes to a shot account for almost half his 201-point tally - the only real disappointment was the three matches he didn't start.

Watch: November was a bumper month for Serge Gnabry!

Marcel Sabitzer
Club: RB Leipzig
Position: Midfielder
Price: 14.8M
Points: 190

Marcel Sabitzer is hot on the heels of Gnabry, despite posting a near-blemish-free report card during the Hinrunde. The RB Leipzig winger has returned double figures in all but three Fantasy scoring categories, with goal attempts a seriously big earner once again (54 points). Two points for hitting the winning goal coupled with minus four combined for being booked and ending up on the losing side are hardly a source of concern for one of the league leaders' most consistent and effective performers.

Marco Reus
Club: Borussia Dortmund
Position: Midfielder
Price: 18.7M
Points: 180

Marco Reus enjoys a similarly grand influence at Dortmund. BVB's skipper, who only missed one game through injury, is the club's nine-goal top scorer this term and has three assists. Strong numbers, and no surprise given his 54 points scored for attempts on goal. Pair him with Sancho and - like Dortmund coach Lucien Favre - you'll be laughing.

Filip Kostic
Club: Eintracht Frankfurt
Position: Midfielder
Price: 17M
Points: 209

Adi Hütter hasn't had too much to cheer in the Eintracht Frankfurt dugout of late, save perhaps the effort and endeavour of Filip Kostic. The Serbian winger has been singled out for his displays despite the Eagles' seven-match winless nosedive down the table since putting five past Bayern on Matchday 10. Kostic is third overall in the Fantasy standings - imagine the damage he'll do when Eintracht start firing on all cylinders again...

Timo Werner
Club: RB Leipzig
Position: Forward
Price: 19.2M
Points: 241

Two men have topped Kostic - one is Werner. Leipzig's sharpshooter extraordinaire has hit 18 goals in 17 starts, including three braces and a hat-trick in a game against Mainz in which he weighed in with three of his six assists so far this season. The Germany international has even returned double digits for tackles won. If you want to give your team wings, Turbo Timo's your man...

Robert Lewandowski
Club: Bayern Munich
Position: Forward
Price: 23.2M
Points: 243

Only Lewandowski has scored more goals and Fantasy points than Werner. The Bayern No.9 is already on 19 for the campaign, translating into 68 points - as many as he's tallied for goal attempts. Like Werner, he's bumped up his total with multiple plus-one showings - four braces and a hat-trick - and can be relied on to do the business from the penalty spot. Make no mistake, LewandoGOALski is worth every cent of his game-high 23.2M price tag!
