Mats Hummels to be given official Borussia Dortmund farewell ahead of Juventus friendly
Borussia Dortmund legend Mats Hummels will be given an official farewell by the club ahead of the team's pre-season friendly against Juventus in early August.
Hummels announced his retirement from professional football earlier this year, having spent the 2024/25 season at Serie A side Roma following his departure from Dortmund in summer 2024.
Now 36, he spent 14 years in Dortmund colours across two spells, either side of a three-season interlude at Bayern Munich.
Hummels won five Bundesliga titles, three DFB Cups and the 2014 FIFA World Cup in a trophy-laden career that also included 78 international caps for Germany.
