Eintracht Frankfurt sign AC Milan winger Jens Petter Hauge
Eintracht Frankfurt have completed the signing of Norway winger Jens Petter Hauge from AC Milan.
Hauge, who is an international teammate of Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland, has signed a one-year loan deal with an option to make the deal permanent.
"I am very happy to be here and to take my next step," said hauge. "Eintracht Frankfurt is a big traditional club and has already caused a stir internationally.
"I've followed their games in the Europa League and can't wait to wear the Eintracht jersey myself from now on."
Hauge, 21, produced five goals and one assist in 24 competitive appearances for Milan in 2020/21, whilst earning his first three senior caps for Norway.
It was his first season outside of his homeland, where he burst onto the scene with boyhood club Bodo/Glimt as a 16-year-old, scoring a hat-trick on his debut. He went on to feature in 117 matches, enjoying a career-best return of 14 goals and 10 assists during the club's 2020 Eliteserien-winning campaign and claiming the Norwegian top flight's Player of the Season award.
"In addition to his high speed, Jens Petter has the skills to solve offensive one-on-one situations and thus radiate goal danger from all offensive positions," added sporting director Markus Krösche.
