That game - a 2-2 draw - was littered with beauties but Musiala's effort stood out among not only those, but the rest of the month's contenders. Those also featured another stunner from Musiala, almost a mirror-image dribble and finish against Heidenheim.

February

It was a goal as crucial as it was brilliant as Harry Kane latched onto a bouncing ball in the Leipzig box to ping the ball home in added time to earn Bayern a 2-1 victory. It's the England striker's fourth Goal of the Month award since moving to the Bundesliga last summer.

January

It was a sublime piece of skill from RB Leipzig's Dutch whizzkid, controlling a chipped ball from the left in the box, spinning his marker and firing into the bottom right corner to give his side the early lead in their Matchday 18 encounter with Leverkusen. And it was an overwhelming favourite among fans as Xavi claimed a second Goal of the Month crown for 2023/24.

December

Having previously picked up the crown in October and November, goal-king Kane was at it again in December. A truly wonderful strike in the rain at Wolfsburg put Bayern 2-0 up against the hosts and brought the English striker's tally up to an astonishing 21 goals for the campaign by the winter break.

November

Kane struck one more memorable goal against Heidenheim in November, which came out on top of a fabulous collection of strikes.

October

Kane's stunner from inside his own half against Darmstadt was always going to take some beating and it proved to be the case as he swept to the prize.

September

Xavi claimed the monthly honour for his superb curling effort in RB Leipzig's 3-0 win over Union Berlin.

August

Jan-Niklas Beste collected the August award for his stunning free-kick that opened the scoring in Heidenheim's 3-2 loss at the hands of Hoffenheim on Matchday 3.
