DFL confirms extra transfer window in Germany for summer 2025
The DFL has confirmed that there will be an additional transfer window in Germany from 1 June to 10 June 2025.
Due to the extra registration period that is being allowed prior to the FIFA Club World Cup, clubs in the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 will now also be able to complete transfers from 1 June until 8pm CEST on 10 June.
The decision has also been made from the 2025/26 season to close the main transfer window at 8pm on its respective final day, instead of the previous closing time of 6pm.
The resolutions are subject to approval by the DFL general assembly.
