As the Bundesliga officially turns 60 on 24 August, we take a trip down memory lane with the legendary Jürgen Klopp and others...
Klopp is one of the most recognisable and celebrated faces in Bundesliga history. Once a player with Mainz, he later coached the club before steering Borussia Dortmund to back-to-back Bundesliga titles in 2011 and 2012 - the second as part of a domestic double. The Stuttgart native also took BVB to the 2012/13 UEFA Champions League final, in what ranks as one of the most successful tenures of all time.
'Kloppo' continues to work his heavy-metal magic at Liverpool, where he's got his hands on, among others, the English Premier League and Champions League trophies.
In the below video, the affable tactician - one of the pioneers of modern-day Gegenpressing - discusses his love for the Bundesliga and most memorable moments.
