The side bottom of the Bundesliga after Matchday 7 have parted ways with head coach Peter Zeidler and sporting director Marc Lettau following a 3-1 defeat at Hoffenheim.
Bochum have announced that head coach Peter Zeidler and sporting director Marc Lettau are to leave their posts with immediate effect.
The club remains without a win after Matchday 7 of the 2024/25 season, and announced in a statement: "Despite many discussions and efforts in recent weeks, it has not been possible to achieve significant improvements in terms of our football or position in the table. Taking these aspects into account, the club's management, together with the leadership of the football operations and the team, have carried out a thorough analysis. The result of that is that there is not the belief that the club can achieve its goal of securing Bundesliga safety with the current personnel."
