Bayern Munich release new jersey for 2020/21
The record Bundesliga champions have revealed their new threads for the 2020/21 season which they rocked for the first time on 10 June, in their DFB Cup semi-final win against Eintracht Frankfurt.
Bayern have returned to their "classic" look, as an announcement read on the club's website.
The jersey is, of course, in the classic red and white colours of Bayern and "brings the core values of the German record champions to the fore," as the statement read.
"The familiar look unites the club's awareness of tradition and the solidarity with the entire FC Bayern family. Stripe details in the fabric give the red shirt a high-quality look, while fine white edges on the collar and sleeves complete the design. A special feature is the club-typical "Mia san mia" lettering in the neck area. Red shorts and socks complete the players' home outfit.
And the new kits were on show for the first time on 10 June as Bayern beat Frankfurt 2-1 in the DFB Cup semi-finals, earning a place in the final against Bayer Leverkusen.
