Bayern brought the curtain down on a historic 2025/26 Bundesliga season by welcoming Colgone to the Allianz Arena on Matchday 34. Vincent Kompany made six changes to his starting line-up recalling Manuel Neuer, Dayot Upamecano, Jonathan Tah, Konrad Laimer, Lennart Karl and Luis Díaz. The occasion also marked the final home appearance for departing trio Leon Goretzka, Raphaël Guerreiro and Nicolas Jackson, who received a rousing send-off from the fans before kick-off. Referee Deniz Aytekin also took charge of his 254th and final Bundesliga match.

Kane fires Bayern ahead with a quick-fire double
Bayern dominated from the first whistle, and the opener arrived in the 10th minute. Karl did well to recover a slightly overhit cross from Díaz, before feeding Joshua Kimmich, who delivered a measured cross for Kane to volley home from inside the box.
Three minutes later, Kane doubled the lead in spectacular fashion. After Jamal Musiala won a free-kick on the edge of the area, Kimmich laid the ball off and Kane drove a low strike through the Cologne wall, leaving goalkeeper Marvin Schwäbe with no chance.

Bischof with stylish strike
Cologne hit back in the 18th minute through a moment of individual brilliance. Saïd El Mala dispossessed Musiala in midfield, sprinted nearly 60 yards past four Bayern defenders and finished coolly past Neuer from 13 metres to make it 2-1.
The visitors' joy was short-lived, however. In the 22nd minute, Karl played a neat one-two with Laimer on the right before cutting the ball back to the edge of the area, where Tom Bischof arrived to slot a precise low finish into the bottom corner and restore Bayern's two-goal advantage.
Bayern continued to press and came close to extending their lead further, with Díaz Marulanda denied by Schwäbe and Karl firing over from close range. Musiala also struck the left post in the 44th minute after a superb through-ball from Kane.
Kane completes his hat-trick
The second half began at a more measured pace, though Bayern continued to threaten. Karl struck the post from 17 yards in the 53rd minute, and Musiala had a shot deflected wide.
Jonathan Tah produced an outstanding sliding challenge to deny Cologne in the 67th minute, before Bayern added a fourth goal. Leon Goretzka drove forward and laid the ball off to Kane, who expertly found the bottom corner from range.
Jackson seals it
The match's most emotional moment came in the 83rd minute when Goretzka was substituted, receiving a standing ovation from the entire stadium as his teammates rushed to embrace him. His replacement, Jackson, scored almost immediately after great work from Díaz.
Bayern saw out the remaining minutes comfortably to seal a 5-1 victory and bring down the curtain on a remarkable season.
