Bayern Munich are back: Vincent Kompany's side begin pre-season training
Harry Kane, Joshua Kimmich and their Bayern Munich teammates have begun their pre-season preparations ahead of the new campaign.

As is customary, the Bayern players underwent medical checks and performance tests on their first day back, including radiological and cardiological exams at Munich’s Barmherzige Brüder hospital.
Kane and Co. also completed lung function tests and blood work.
Three friendlies in store
Kompany will oversee the first training session of 2025/26 on Wednesday, giving the team just over two weeks to prepare for their first competitive game of the season in the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup at DFB Cup winners VfB Stuttgart on 16 August.
Bayern will warm up for that encounter with three friendlies, starting with Olympique Lyon on 2 August. That is followed by games against Tottenham Hotspur (7 August) and Grasshopper Club Zurich (12 August).
They begin their Bundesliga title defence at home to RB Leipzig on 22 August.
