Bayern Munich won their opening 16 competitive fixtures of 2025/26, seeing off the likes of European champions Paris Saint-Germain and world champions Chelsea to set a new winning run to start a season by a team in Europe’s top five leagues - until being held 2-2 by Union Berlin on Matchday 10 of the Bundesliga.
