
Bayern Munich back in cyber training
Continental treble winners Bayern Munich have resumed pre-season training, with Serge Gnabry, Alphonso Davies and Co. taking part in a socially distanced, cyber session.
Bayern were in imperious form under coach Hansi Flick last season. In the space of 10 months the former assistant coach led the record champions to the treble of Bundesliga, DFB Cup and UEFA Champions League.

With fixture schedules at home and abroad interrupted due to the coronavirus pandemic, Bayern will kick off their Bundesliga title defence at home to Schalke on Friday 18 September, just 27 days after completing their treble with victory over Paris Saint-Germain in Lisbon.
Bayern insisted on kicking off the 2020/21 season despite being given the option to postpone. Their DFB Cup first round clash with fifth-tier FC Düren has been moved to 15 October, but the record champions are otherwise raring to go.
Having given his players a short break, Flick's men are back in action - digitally for now. Bayern are expected to return for first-team training at Säbener Strasse on Friday, were coronavirus tests and other medical examinations will be carried out.
