Bayern Munich's Alphonso Davies back in training after ACL tear
Alphonso Davies has returned to team training at Bayern Munich following eight months out with a serious knee injury.
Davies, 25, has been on the sidelines since tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee on international duty with Canada in March 2025.
However, having undergone surgery and an intensive rehabilitation programme, the left-back was able to take part in a full team training session on Monday.

A return to competitive action before the Bundesliga's customary winter break remains firmly on the cards, as Bayern head coach Vincent Kompany told media in mid-October.
"I hoped he'd be back at the beginning of January, but as things stand now, it might be a bit sooner.
"If he can play a few games in December, then everyone will have done a wonderful job. If things continue to go well, then we might have a very, very fit Alphonso Davies back [by then]."

Bayen have been in sensational form in Davies' absence, wrapping up the 2024/25 Bundesliga title and winning the 2025 Franz Beckenbauer Supercup. Kompany's charges are also unbeaten in all 17 matches they've played this season, winning the first 16 - a European record.
As well as Davies - who will hope to represent co-hosts Canada at the FIFA World Cup 2026 - Bayern still have star playmaker Jamal Musiala (ankle/ leg) and Japan international defender Hiroki Ito (metatarsal) to welcome back into the fold.
