Bayern Munich's Allianz Arena to stage 2028 UEFA Champions League final
European football’s governing body UEFA have confirmed that Bayern Munich’s Allianz Arena will stage the UEFA Champions League final in 2028.
The announcement was made at a meeting of UEFA’s executive committee on Tuesday, with the home of the record German champions selected as the venue following a bidding process.
This will be the third Champions League final to be held at the Allianz Arena, which also staged European club football’s showpiece fixture in 2012 and 2025.

Jupp Heynckes’ Bayern progressed all the way to the final 14 years ago, only to lose to English Premier League club Chelsea on penalties following a 1-1 draw after extra-time.
Current European champions Paris Saint-Germain lifted the trophy in Munich in 2025 after cruising to a comfortable 5-0 win over Italian giants Inter Milan.
The 2028 final is set to be held on 27 May 2028, with the opening game of UEFA Euro 2028 in the UK and Ireland taking place less than two weeks later.
The announcement comes the day after it was announced that Oasis would play two concerts at the stadium in July 2027.
