Leverkusen vs. St. Pauli: DFB Cup quarter-final LIVE blog and preview
Bayer Leverkusen will aim to reach the semi-finals of the DFB Cup for the third successive season when they host St. Pauli at the BayArena on Tuesday (kick-off: 8.45pm CET).
Leverkusen have bounced back from a difficult start to 2026 with back-to-back victories over Villarreal in the UEFA Champions League and Eintracht Frankfurt on Matchday 20 of the Bundesliga campaign. To reach this stage of the competition, the beat Sonnenhof Großaspach, Paderborn and Borussia Dortmund.
Kasper Hjulmand, though, could be without several important players, including Ibrahim Maza and Christian Kofane, the latter of whom was forced off injured against Frankfurt.
Pauli, meanwhile, have won just one of their last eight games since they defeated Borussia Mönchengladbach in the last 16 to progress to this stage. They have, however, drawn two of their past three, including against RB Leipzig last midweek. While Hauke Wahl and Adam Dźwigała missed the weekend's loss to Augsburg, they could both be available once more here.
