Bayern Munich's Alphonso Davies matches season speed record!
Bayern Munich star Alphonso Davies joined Heidenheim's Eren Dinkçi at the top of the 2023/24 Bundesliga speed charts, clocking up 36.41 km/h (22.62 mph) in his side's Matchday 32 defeat by VfB Stuttgart.
Davies hit his lung-busting stride in the ninth minute as he chased - and reached - a long ball forward down the left from team-mate Eric Dier.
His eye-watering sprint into the Stuttgart half means he now joins Heidenheim's Dinkçi at the top of this season's most jet-heeled Bundesliga players. The Werder Bremen loanee hit the same speed earlier on in the campaign.
The Bundesliga's five fastest players in 2023/24:
1. Alphonso Davies (36.41 km/h)
2. Eren Dinkçi (36.41 km/h)
3. Silas (36.15 km/h)
4. Maxence Lacroix (36.13 km/h)
5. Linton Maina (36.1 km/h)

Borussia Dortmund's Karim Adeyemi remains the league's fastest player of all time, however, having clocked 36.65 km/h (22.77 mph) against Freiburg in the second half of the 2022/23 season.
