Alphonso Davies suffers muscle injury against Eintracht Frankfurt
Bayern Munich left-back Alphonso Davies faces another spell out of action after suffering a muscle injury against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday.
Davies, who only recently returned to action following a long-term knee injury, was replaced by Hiroki Ito in the 50th minute of Bayern's 3-2 win over the Eagles.
Fortunately, it appears the injury will not keep him out of action for an extended period. “It doesn't look so bad," said head coach Vincent Kompany afterwards. "I don't know if it will be two or four weeks. My gut feeling is that it won't take that long."

Bayern subsequently confirmed that comprehensive tests after the final whistle revealed that Davies had sustained a muscle fibre tear in his right hamstring.
It is unknown how long a spell Davies faces in the treatment room, but he will definitely miss the Klassiker at Borussia Dortmund next Saturday.
