Germany to wear final Adidas shirt against the Netherlands

Germany will wear their final shirt made by Adidas against the Netherlands in the UEFA Nations League on Thursday (kick-off: 8.45pm).

Adidas, founded and based in Germany, have been tasked with making the national team's kits for 72 years, with the company's logo printed on shirts that have won four FIFA World Cups and three UEFA European Championships.

However, following the DFB's decision to join forces with rival Nike from 1 January 2027, Adidas have brought out one final shirt that will be worn for the first time when Germany face the Netherlands. The brand shared the top on Instagram, with it featuring gold stripes on a black background.

The shirt could also be worn when Die Nationalelf face Greece (twice) and Serbia during this international break under new head coach Jürgen Klopp. While the top itself has been produced, it is not yet available for purchase.
