Dortmund were vastly improved in 2025/26, securing a Champions League spot on Matchday 31 win an emphatic win over Freiburg. While they couldn't keep up with the mind-blowing exploits of rivals Bayern, there are plenty of positives for Niko Kovač to take into next season, with BVB 13 points better of than in 2024/25 with a game still left to play.
