Union Berlin's Leopold Querfeld wins Bundesliga Goal of the Season 2024/25
Leopold Querfeld's stunning strike for Union Berlin in their incredible match with VfB Stuttgart has been voted the Bundesliga Goal of the Season 2024/25.
Of the 959 goals scored in the 2024/25 Bundesliga season, Querfeld's was statistically the least probable with an xG of just 1.2, the lowest since records began in 2020/21.
It was a stunning strike that came in an incredible half of football as Union and Stuttgart traded a Bundesliga record eight goals before half-time of their Matchday 30 encounter.
But such has been the number of breathtaking goals in the 2024/25 season, it was not actually a Goal of the Month winner.
