Bayern suffered a rare defeat at home against Bochum, ultimately succumbing 3-2 despite taking a 2-0 lead, but Guerreiro can take some solace from the fact that his stunning strike was voted the Bundesliga's best goal of March,
The effort was a clinical finish from a player who has become a goalscoring regular despite being a full-back. Bayern's progress forward appeared to have been stunted as Serge Gnabry lost possession, but Guerreiro was on hand to hammer into the roof of the night via the crossbar from the middle of the box, leaving Timo Horn with no chance between the Bochum sticks.
