Jackson FIVE!

Dream introduction for the Bayern sub. It's a quick turnover, with Díaz leading the charge and teeing up the Senegalese forward for an ice-cold finish past Schwäbe.

Bayern fans on their feet

So much love for Goretzka, who's been a fantastic servant down the years. Chelsea loanee Nicolas Jackson is the much-loved midfielder's replacement.

El Mala makes way

... but the Cologne goalscorer is walking without support as he heads to the away bench. Bülter also makes way, with Thielmann and Niang sent on for the remainder.
78'

El Mala concern

Cologne's breakout star is down with what looks like an ankle injury...
75'

Dangerous!

Olise controls a superb pass into the six-yard area from Goretzka. The Frenchman could shoot, but opts to play it back across goal, and the black shirts can clear.
74'

Guerreiro on

The Portugal international has replaced Musiala in what's his final outing as a Bayern player at the Allianz.
72'

Like a Hurri-Kane

That's Kane's 11th Bundesliga hat-trick and his fourth this season.
camera-photo

Hat-trick!

Another spectacular Kane goal after a bulldozing Goretzka run. The Bayern No.9's first touch sets him up perfectly and his second, well, that's how to strike a ball from distance. Clean as a whistle - no chance for Schwäbe.
69'
Harry Kane
67'

Tah-da!

The Bayern defender makes an outstanding sliding challenge to divert Bülter's goal-bound shot out for a corner, which comes to nothing. Instinctive defending at its finest!
64'

Deflected!

Musiala has a crack from 18 yards, but a deflection takes it wide for a corner. The ensuing set piece culminates in Díaz whipping a long-range effort wide.
61'

Double change

Like-for-like changes as master Neuer - seemingly carrying a knock - replaces apprentice Urbig in the Bayern goal. Olise is also sent on in place of Karl on the right wing.
59'

Decent effort

Half a chance for Cologne as Castro-Montes clips a corner towards the near post, where Bülter sends a flicked header wide.
56'

Wouldn't have counted

Upamecano picks out Díaz with a peach of a pass from deep, but the Colombian pulls his shot wide before the whistle sounds for offside.
52'

Woodwork!

Cologne get away with one as Martel's attempted clearance falls to Karl. The teenager takes aim from 18 yards, but his effort cannons back off the far post.

Maina's involved immediately. The Cologne sub collects an inside pass and darts into the Bayern area, but the shot goes comfortably wide of Neuer's far post.

Laimer, who was on a yellow, makes way at right-back for Stanišić. Maina's also on for defender Schmied in an attacking change for Cologne.

Half-time: Bayern 3-1 Cologne

Bayern are in control as an entertaining first half closes with a flurry of Cologne activity in and around Neuer's goal. The champs have been at their flowing best in attack, and could arguably be 4- or 5-1 up.

Off the post!

Bayern nearly take full advantage as Cologne lose possession in the build-up. Kane feeds Musiala, who skips away from his man before lashing a rising strike against the woodwork. Kane tries to get something on the loose ball in the six-yard box, but the visiting defence snuff it out.
42'

Chance!

Díaz runs in behind Simpson-Pusey as Bayern go route one. The Colombian darts into the penalty area, but his low shot is blocked by the spread-eagle Schwäbe.

Moments after being booked, Laimer needs some treatment after receiving an accidental blow to the head.

Great finish!

Lovely goal to restore Bayern's cushion. Karl is the architect with a weaving run on the right-hand side. His cross is played behind the Cologne defence, allowing Bischof to ghost in from deep to slot a razor-sharp finish beyond the dive of Schwäbe from the edge of the area. That's now three goals in his last four league games!

Bayern exposed!

Cologne punish Bayern's high line to halve the deficit. El Mala does all the work, dispossessing Musiala in his own half before running a good 60 yards and finishing low past Neuer. Fantastic composure from the teenager - will he go to the World Cup with Germany?

Harry Houdini!

Outrageous from Kane as he lashes a brilliantly disguised free-kick, initially touched off by Kimmich, through Cologne's defensive wall. The set piece all came about after some trademark Musiala chicanery on the edge of the D. It could be a rout...

It's been coming!

Bayern forge ahead in Munich. Karl does really well to recover a slightly overcooked Díaz cross, before jinking inside and dropping the ball off for Kimmich. He stands up a measured cross for Kane, who volleys home with aplomb from inside the 18-yard box. Superb technique - that's now 34 Bundesliga goals this season.

Nearly!

Cologne are defending in numbers as Kane and Goretzka combine in the penalty area. They visitors get it away, but Bayern are straight back on the attack with Díaz. He pings over a low cross, with the unmarked Karl mere inches from applying the finish.

Probing

Musiala runs out of pitch as he tries to catch up with a through-ball from Díaz. Bayern have started very brightly, backed by a jubilant home crowd.

Kimmich sprays a long ball over the top of the Cologne defence for the run of Díaz, but the flag goes up. Nice idea!

Departing duo

Bayern pay their respects to Raphaël Guerreiro, who will depart after three years at the club this summer. The fans then raise the roof to thank the outbound Goretzka for his services. Time will tell where the duo land next.
camera-photo

Top of the shots - again

Kane will also claim the top scorer's prize today. He's currently on 33 goals - 14 more than Stuttgart's Deniz Undav. The Englisman will become the first player to win the Torjägerkanone in each of his first three seasons in the Bundesliga.

Watch: Eyes on the prize

Bayern will be presented with the Meisterschale at full-time in Munich, after a mightily impressive title defence. Kompany is now two from two as head coach of the record champions.
camera-photo

Objective achieved

Cologne start the day in 14th. The Billy Goats could stay put, drop or climb one place, depending on results today. As a promoted team, they'll be pretty happy with their first season back in the big time.

Watch: Fond farewell

Goretzka will have the chance to lift the DFB Cup next week, before heading off to pastures new. The Germany midfielder has made 310 competitive appearances for Bayern, registering 51 goals and 52 assists since making the switch from Schalke eight years ago.
camera-photo

More on those teams

Goretzka retains his place for his final game at the Allianz as a Bayern player. Neuer returns in goal after penning a one-year contract extension, with Urbig dropping to the bench. Laimer, Upamecano, Tah, Karl and Díaz are also cycled back into the starting line-up. As for Cologne, Simpson-Pusey is recalled in defence, Martel’s back following suspension and Castro-Montes replaces Maina.

Cologne's recent troubles

By remaining in the Bundesliga for next season, Cologne have achieved their main goal for this campaign, but in the end, that has largely been down to the teams around them having a poorer season. Cologne have only won one of their last 13 league games and have not won away from home in the league since 3 October. Not a particularly good omen ahead of an away day against the champions.
camera-photo

New deal for Ulreich

Bayern's reserve goalkeeper Sven Ulreich, 37, has also extended his contract through to 30 June 2027. "Manuel and Sven will continue to support Jonas [Urbig] on his journey to becoming the future of Bayern," said board member for sport Max Eberl. "We're very much looking forward to the new season with this perfect line-up."

Bayern CEO on Neuer

Jan-Christian Dreesen: "Manuel Neuer was one of the best signings in our club's history. With almost 600 appearances for Bayern, we are now heading into our 16th season together – that alone says almost everything about his extraordinary importance."

Neuer on new Bayern deal

"I took my time making this decision and I'm really happy now. Everything's just right here: with this team, we can beat anyone; I enjoy going to Säbener Straße every day and I'm performing to the best of my ability."

Neuer pens Bayern extension

It had been suggested that Manuel Neuer may call time on his illustrious career at the end of the current campaign, but the 40-year-old will now play on for at least another 12 months after extending his Bayern contract until 2027.

Vincent Kompany on facing Cologne

“You have to win every game; that’s the Bayern mentality. You always have to be mentally prepared for every game. It’s part and parcel of being a footballer. We don’t believe there’s such a thing as an easy game. There’ll be 75,000 people there with their children; they’ll be looking forward to it.”

René Wagner on facing Bayern

“It’s the chance to test yourself at the very highest level against the best players in Germany and maybe in Europe. We need to see it as an opportunity. We need to go out there with full energy. We need to make sure we stand up against them. At the end of the day, it’s a huge chance for us to test ourselves against the best. I think the guys understand that as well. That’s the demand on ourselves going to Munich.”
camera-photo

Injured Hübers extends

Cologne confirmed on Thursday that Timo Hübers has signed a one-year contract extension despite not playing since October due to a serious knee injury. "After the initial shock, he quickly showed incredibly impressive professionalism and strength. He'll get the time he needs from us. This extension is a sign of our appreciation and trust," said managing director Thomas Kessler of the defender who's been at the club since 2021 and captained them to promotion in 2024/25.
camera-photo

Auf Wiedersehen

Ahead of kick-off, Bayern will say goodbye to Leon Goretzka, Nicolas Jackson and Raphaël Guerreiro as the trio play their final home game for the club before moving on in the summer. They will get their hands on the Meisterschale after the final whistle.
camera-photo

Aytekin to hang up his whistle

This clash will mark referee Deniz Aytekin's final game as an official. “Of course there’s a sense of melancholy," he reflected. "But there are also moments when you think to yourself, ‘wow, how long have I actually been doing all this, and how long have I been part of the Bundesliga?’ When you leave a family like that - in my case, the football family - then of course there are moments when I realise it was just an incredible and unbelievable time for me."
camera-photo

Bayern's terrific trio

Harry Kane, Michael Olise and Luis Díaz have amassed 100 goal involvements (63 goals and 37 assists) in the Bundesliga this season. Since the late 1980s, no trio in a Bundesliga campaign has contributed as many goals. What's more, Olise's 15 strikes and 19 assists marks the first time in six years that a player has achieved at least 15 goals and 15 assists in a single season.
5:16
camera-professional-play-symbol

Watch: All Kane's goals

With 33 Bundesliga goals in 30 appearances in 2025/26, Harry Kane holds a 14-goal lead over VfB Stuttgart's Deniz Undav. The deficit hasn't been this large since Robert Lewandowski and Nils Petersen in 2017/18, and it's the largest since Gerd Müller was 18 goals ahead of Klaus Fischer and Hans Walitza in 1971/72. Only Lewandowski and Müller have previously managed to finish as the league's top scorer at least three times in a row.
camera-photo

Another season in the Bundesliga

Cologne secured a 54th season in Germany's top flight despite defeat against Heidenheim last time out. Defeat against Bayern would see the Billy Goats end the campaign on 32 points, which would have seen them relegated, or at least finish in the play-off spot, in eight of the last 11 seasons.
camera-photo

Marvellous Neuer

Bayern's No.1 is now tied with Thomas Müller for the most Bundesliga titles (13), with eight of them as captain. Sharing the goalkeeping responsibilities with Jonas Urbig, Neuer hasn't lost in Germany's top flight in his last 44 outings, while another season could see the 40-year-old surpass Bayern and Germany great Oliver Kahn into third for all-time Bundesliga appearances.
camera-photo

Bayern's historic campaign

With 117 goals after 33 games, no team has scored as many goals in a single Bundesliga campaign as Vincent Kompany's charges, who can also end the season on 89 points with only three teams securing more in league history - Bayern in 2012/13 (91 points) and 2013/14 (90), and Bayer Leverkusen in 2023/24 (90). What's more, Germany's record champions have only tasted defeat once this season - a feat they have achieved on only two other occasions (1986/87 and 2012/13).
