Red Bull Arena
UNION BERLIN VICTORIOUS
Game over! Union have come from a goal down to win in the Red Bull Arena. Goals from Haberer and Knoche (from the spot) have earned a superb triumph for Urs Fischer's men. They go second in the standings. Leipzig's 18-match unbeaten run comes to an end. A tremendously entertaining game.
Long ball into the mixer, Schlager nods it to Poulsen who heads goalwards and this is surely going in! NO! Rönnow gets something on it and the hosts are denied!
Ohhh, Leipzig go mighty close. Werner's cross from the left is met by Forsberg's glancing header. The ball fizzes past the far post.
UNION GRINDING IT OUT
The minutes are ticking down at the Red Bull Arena. We'll have six in added time. Can Union hold on or will Leipzig strike a late equaliser? The visitors are doing their best to eat up time.
Speed check: The fastest player in the game after 90 minutes
Poulsen gives away a foul and then badgers the referee a little too much before slamming the ball into the ground. That's a booking.
Norway's Morten Thorsby is coming on for the closing stages. Aissa Laidouni makes way.
Timo Werner is booked for protesting with the referee following Leipzig's disallowed goal.
GOAL RULED OUT
Henrichs plays a long ball towards the far post. Halstenberg rises and makes contact, sending a pass into the six-yard box. Poulsen stretches and pokes in the equaliser. After a VAR check, the goal is ruled out for offside.

RBL CHANGE IT UP
Marco Rose responds to his side going behind with the introduction of Forsberg and Poulsen. Leipzig's 18-game unbeaten run is under threat.
UNION IN FRONT!
The penalty is given. Knoche steps up and lifts home a calm finish from the spot. Amazing turnaround.
PENALTY UNION !
Simakan pushes his arm onto the ball inside the area and the referee points to the spot. It will be checked ...
Schlager follows through on Laidouni and the ref pulls out a yellow card to show the Leipzig midfielder.
HABERER'S PB RISING
Haberer's equaliser brings him up to five goals for the season. He's never managed more than three in his previous Bundesliga campaigns.
Laidouni holds on to Schlager and he won't let go. A booking for the recent Union arrival.
Jordan and Michel replace Behrens and Becker for Union while Haidara is in for Laimer for the hosts.
A HABERER SCORCHER!
Union with the corner from the right, Gießelmann takes. The ball is nodded back towards the penalty spot. Haberer is watching this all the way. He shapes, spins and wallops a tremendous volley past Blaswich. Superb.
NEXT GOAL HUGE
Knoche drags his studs down the back of Silva's calf and goes into the ref's notebook.
SILVA TRIES ONE
Silva's shot from distance has plenty of power, but not much accuracy. Union goal-kick.
BLASWICH HAS A POP
Leipzig give it away cheaply and Behrens is on his way. The forward has options either side but goes himself, his weak-ish shot taking a slight deflection that takes it into Blaswich's hands.
SECOND HALF IS GO
Leipzig get us back underway at the Red Bull Arena.
And that's the half. Leizpig have just slightly shaded it and deserve their goal lead, that came about via Henrich's shot from downtown.
Union's fans are making plenty of noise as they try to push their side towards an equaliser. Becker responds, finding space on the left before hoiking a pass into the Leipzig box. Blaswich is alive to the pass and plucks it out of the air.
RBL PASSING ON POINT
BLASWICH TO THE RESCUE
Becker is suddenly in on the left and the Union forward lashes a shot back across Blaswich, who gets a fingertip to the ball to direct it wide. Super save.

Behrens handles in his own box after a bit of pinball but there's no way the forward could have avoided getting his digits on that. Wholly unintentional.
NO WAY THROUGH
Werner twists and turns inside the Union box but he's marshalled all the way by Doekhi, who ushers the ball out for a corner, which comes to nothing.
Speed check: The fastest player in the game after 30 minutes
Union have been knocking on the door since going behind but Urs Fischer's men just can't carve open the clear-cut chance they need. A decent response from the visitors nonetheless.
WHAT A GOAL !
Benni Henrichs how DARE you! What a strike. Silva squares for Leipzig's No. 39. It looks like there's nothing on but Henrich's puts his foot through the ball, which flies from distance towards the near post. Rönnow gets a hand to it but he can't keep it out.
André Silva Kevin Behrens
Henrichs is throttled by Laidouni and the Leipzig man goes down in a heap. Laidouni is pleading his innocence and looks like he's got the benefit of the doubt. Henrichs gets back to his feet after a few minutes' attention.
A Leipzig free kick offers the hosts promise. Szoboszlai steps up and overhits his pass, however. Laimer subsequently hoofs another delivery high and wide.
Doekhi feeds Behrens whose probing centre is hacked away by Laimer. Union are enjoying a good spell of possession at the moment.
RBL IN COMMAND
It's all patient, deliberate build up and cautious defending so far. Leipzig are the side seeking the breakthrough but Union have some counter-attacking ambitions of their own.
Timo Werner bursts down the left but his cross is snuffed out by the Union defence. Szoboszlai then tries to conjure something but the Union ranks close again and the danger is cleared.
Union kick off and we're underway at the Red Bull Arena ...
The players gather in the centre circle and, along with the fans, stand for a minute's silence in memory of the victims of the recent earthquake in Turkey and Syria.
Marco Rose and Urs Fischer hug and then share a few friendly words. What a job these two have been doing for their respective sides this season! Which coach will prevail tonight?
TEAMS OUT !
A superb atmosphere at the Red Bull Arena and we're nearly all set for the off. The players are making their way onto the pitch ...
TIGHT AT THE TOP
Things are really heating up at the top of the table. With leaders Bayern Munich and (the now) second-placed Borussia Dortmund as well as Freiburg in fourth all winning earlier, Leipzig and Union will be keen to follow suit. The hosts are in currently fifth but could go third with a victory this evening. An Union triumph would take them back up to second and within a point of Bayern.
UNION'S NEW FACES
Keep an eye out for Union's winter signing from Ferencvaros Aissa Laidouni, with the Algeria international in the Union starting lineup for the first time here. Josip Juranovic, meanwhile, makes just his second Bundesliga appearance for the visitors.
