Schick and Bellarabi were the men that found the back of the net, and Leverkusen were in cruise mode from there. Cologne did have a superb chance to pull one back through Hector - who has twice gone close - and that will give them hope for a second-half turnaround but they need a big improvement.

Former Cologne academy player Wirtz could be a reason for the hosts to be left seeing red once again today. The Germany international has had a hand in at least one goal in each of his league appearances this season, while no player in the division has provided more assists than his six.

Patrik Schick and Florian Wirtz will be the centre of attention at the top of the pitch with both in fine form so far this season.
