WATCH: DELANEY: "SANCHO WORKING HARD TO REDISCOVER HIS FORM"
FIRST OF THE SEASON!
Finally, Jadon Sancho has his first Bundesliga goal of the season and that one was superb. A corner is cleared with Reyna's pass forward finding Sancho. He battles past Otavio superbly with delightful touch before slotting the ball past Casteels in style. A lot of passion in his celebration, too.
BIALEK SO CLOSE!
Baku's cross is flicked on by Brooks and misses Bialek before bouncing unkindly for Weghorst at the back post. Chances going begging.

ARNOLD FIRES WIDE
The midfielder meets a cleared cross on the edge of the Dortmund box. One touch to control on his chest and a powerfully hit half-volley, but this one blazes wide past Bürki's goal.
Bialek and Ginczek are now on for Schlager and Steffen to join Weghorst in attack. One last push for Wolfsburg.
CAPTAIN COMES OFF
Hummels takes the armband for Dortmund with Reus replaced by Can late on.
WOLVES LACKING BITE
ALMOST A GOAL STRAIGHT AWAY!
Sancho with a fantastic pass in behind the Wolfsburg defence and Tigges reaches it just in front of Casteels. A sliding left-footed touch - his first of the game - sends the ball across goal, but Brooks slides in to clear it off his line.
A Bundesliga debut now for Steffen Tigges who comes on to replace the returning Erling Haaland. The 22-year-old made his BVB debut in the DFB Cup in December.
Dortmund's striker shown a yellow card as he kicks the ball away in frustration after an innocuous handball.
LACROIX COMES ON
Pongracic had been impressive today but he comes off with 12 minutes to play.
The Wolfsburg defender is down with an issue here. Looks like Wolfsburg may be forced into a defensive change.

A switch of personnel in attack as Mehmedi and Victor come on for Gerhardt and Brekalo for the final 20 minutes.
Akanji meets Sancho's corner again, this time ahead of Casteels who had come to punch it away. His header bounces just wide of the mark this time with the goal gaping.
TAILS UP NOW
Dortmund showing some confidence now having taken the lead. It's given them a further burst of life, with Haaland charging down the left and getting involved again.
AKANJI HEADS HOME!
Dortmund a side who have struggled defending set pieces this season but they score from one here now. It's Sancho who clips in the corner and Akanji rises ahead of Hummels to power a header down and past Casteels.
Reus curls in a free-kick and Delaney meets it at the near post on the run. He glances it well with his head but it's wide of the mark. Haaland cutting a frustrated figure behind him, he desperately wants to get a goal here.
Wolfsburg just trying to hold onto the ball a bit longer here and bring Dortmund out of their defensive shape to get in behind.
IT'S STILL 0-0... SOMEHOW!
Both strikers getting involved now. Otavio again with a curling cross from the left and Bürki comes out to get it but is nowhere near it as Weghorst leaps high to meet the ball. His header glances just over the crossbar though.
WEGHORST JUST WIDE
Steffen slides a tidy pass into Weghorst on the run. He holds off Akanji and shoots low at goal but this one misses the near post by a yard or two.
HAALAND IN ON GOAL!
A fantastic through ball from Guerriero bypasses Reyna and meets Haaland's run in behind Pongracic. He smashes a shot at the near post but Casteels matches it with an equally strong save. Somehow, this game is still 0-0!
It's been a fair first five minutes with both sides enjoying time on the ball. Wolfsburg had a teasing cross go through Dortmund's defence untouched but it's BVB having most time on the ball so far in the second half.
HERE WE GO!
The ball is rolling again for the second half in Dortmund with no changes at the break.
The captain forces a good save from Casteels with almost the last kick of the half, curling a free-kick at goal.
Haaland's shot across goal is saved and the rebound falls kindly to Sancho in front of goal. It's not a simple finish, but Sancho will be kicking himself as he miscues and only hits the shot with his studs, sending the ball wide of goal.

We're now into two minutes of time added on at the end of the first half.
Dortmund come closest to opening the scoring. It's brilliant from Reus who is onto Haaland's lay off and skips into the area past a defender. He decides to cut the ball back across towards Haaland instead of shooting, but it's a crucial block from Baku at the last second.
WEGHORST ON TARGET
Otavio curls a fantastic cross into the Dortmund area and Weghorst is alone to meet it. His header is on target but it's straight at Bürki and lacks the power to cause him any problems.
The Dortmund midfielder is cautioned for a foul on Gerhardt.
HAALAND HEADS WIDE
A tough one for the 20-year-old as he reaches Guerreiro's free-kick at the near post but he can't angle the header towards goal, instead it bounces off the top of his head and over the top.
A foul on Guerreiro earns Steffen the first yellow card for Wolfsburg.
Both sides finding it hard to take control of the ball here for longer periods. Dortmund have a touch more joy in the last 10 minutes or so, but Wolfsburg's defence is keeping Haaland and co. quiet.
BIG CHANCE FOR HAALAND!
Dortmund's No.9 is sent over the top by Akanji. After bringing it down, he turns past Brooks on the edge of the six-yard box and shoots but it's blocked by the defender in front of goal. Offside is given in the end to frustrate Haaland further.

HAALAND ON TARGET
A fine long pass from Hummels, a trademark with the outside of his boot, finds Haaland. He has time and space to run towards the Wolfsburg goal and decides to shoot with the Wolves' defence backing off. It's a tame effort though and Casteels grabs that one.
PRESSURE STILL ON
Arnold fires a volley high and wide of goal but it's impressive still from Wolfsburg who are really taking the game to Dortmund. Steffen and Brekalo in close support of Weghorst, with Gerhardt in the No.10 role.
The Dortmund centre-back is shown the first yellow card of the game for a firm challenge on Gerhardt in midfield.
Arnold's weapon of a left foot fires a free-kick into the Dortmund box from the left. Pongracic, Steffen and Witsel collide to meet the ball and it falls in front of Meunier who clears ahead of Bürki. Video-Assist just checking for a potential handball.
The intensity is not dropping from this game with Wolfsburg still pressing in the Dortmund half and pushing forward. The home side, though, have gotten themselves into the game as well and are finding their flow with passing through midfield.

Wolfsburg's press has eased and Dortmund are beginning to work the ball forward well themselves. Sancho and Reyna getting involved in the build-up play to win Dortmund a second corner of the game already - both well defended.
Dortmund get into the Wolfsburg box for the first time. Interplay between Reyna and Sancho sees the American find Reus in the box. He shoots at goal from a tight angle but Casteels is there to beat it away.
ONE-WAY TRAFFIC TO START
Superb high pressing up the pitch is suffocating Dortmund into conceding possession when they have it. The Wolves have then been moving the ball forward swiftly and across the pitch. Chances have gone begging though, for Glasner's side.
OFF THE POST!
Wolfsburg are somehow not in front here as a low cross from the left goes through to Gerhardt in front of goal. He meets it with a shot back across goal but Hummels makes a crucial block to push the ball onto his own post and out.
SCHALGER FIRES WIDE
Wolfsburg flying here with Brekalo played into the area. He cuts the ball back and Meunier's clearance falls to Schlager in front of goal, but he drags his shot wide of the mark.
Schlager slices the first shot of the game high and wide after Brekalo has miss-controlled a cross from the right into the Dortmund box. Wolfsburg pressing high early on here, forcing Dortmund to give up possession twice already.
HERE WE GO!
The ball is rolling in Dortmund with the home side getting us underway.
KICK-OFF FAST APPROACHING!
Yesterday was a fantastic return to Bundesliga football at the start of 2021, and the fun continues this Sunday afternoon. We're 10 minutes from kick-off at the Signal Iduna Park. Dortmund vs. Wolfsburg. It's going to be a must-watch!
ONE YEAR OF REYNA
As well as Haaland, Dortmund are now celebrating one year of Gio Reyna performing for the first-team. The teenager has gone from strength to strength since making his first appearance for BVB on 18 January 2020. Intelligent on the ball and quick over the ground, the 18-year-old's first 12 months as a senior player suggest this is very much just the beginning. He'll be out to kickstart the New Year in style today.
THE RETURN OF ERLING
Erling Haaland has scored an astonishing 33 goals in 32 competitive games since joining Dortmund this time a year ago. Having missed the last four Bundesliga outings of 2020 through injury, the 20-year-old has been working to return for this very game. He's back, and with him Dortmund's attack will change dramatically.
TALE OF THE TAPE
BVB are unbeaten in their last 10 Bundesliga matches against Wolfsburg, winning nine. Wolfsburg have only lost one of their first 13 matches in a Bundesliga season for the first time in their history.
WORRY FOR WOUT?
Weghorst is on course for a third straight season of double figures for goals and has scored against all but one of the Bundesliga teams he has faced in his career so far. He's without a goal in four career meetings with Dortmund.
WOLFSBURG TEAM NEWS
Brooks, Arnold, Lacroix, Schlager and Mbabu are available again to head coach Oliver Glasner, with Lacroix and Mbabu on the bench to start, but Philipp, Roussillon, Mehmedi and second-choice goalkeeper Pervan are definitely out. Ex-BVB forward Philipp's absence could see Schlager pushed forward into a No.10 role. Top scorer Weghorst struck a brace against Sandhausen, but he is without a goal in successive Bundesliga matches for the first time since Matchday 3.
BVB TEAM NEWS
Haaland's return is timely, especially with Moukoko ruled out through injury. Winger Hazard is another confirmed absentee, but right-back Meunier, midfield pair Can and Witsel, and captain Reus are all fit again with only Can missing out on a start following Dortmund's 2-0 DFB Cup second-round win over Braunschweig.
