ONE MINUTED ADDED ON

Into the final minute here with Freiburg's fans celebrating a huge win.
88'

HOFFENHEIM STILL PUSHING ON

The home side aren't giving up on this game, but time is running out on them. Half chances for Rupp and Belfodil, but nothing that could threaten Schwolow in the Freiburg goal.
82'

ALL IN FREIBURG'S HANDS

The home side continue to push forward, but they have just not been good enough in front of goal today. That also hasn't been helped by Freiburg's superb defensive front and high-pressing throughout the pitch. It's been a supreme performance from Christian Streich's side.
77'

HEINTZ HAS A GO

Once again the Hoffenheim defence fails to close down a Freiburg player bringing the ball forward. He looks for a pass, but has so much space that he keeps running and eventually shoots at goal. His effort is goal-bound, but Baumann makes a good save.
76'

HOFFENHEIM COME CLOSE AGAIN

The ball drops for Locadia in the box from a corner, but he doesn't connect with his shot as much as he'd like. Abrashi makes a nice block with his chest before Belfodil puts the rebound behind for a goal kick. A hugely frustrating afternoon for Hoffenheim in front of goal.
72'

CLUB RECORD FOR FREIBURG

For the first time in the club's history, Freiburg have scored 10 goals in the opening four games of a Bundesliga season.
67'

HABERER HEADS OVER

A short corner from Günter to Schmid sees the ball swung in by the Frenchman. Haberer rises highest to meet it, but angles his header wide.
65'

FREIBURG GOING THIRD

The team from the Black Forrest will be going ahead of Bayern Munich into third place on goal difference, with nine points from a possible 12 at this rate. If they score twice more, they'll even go ahead of Borussia Dortmund into second place...
65'

BELFODIL WITH A SHOT

A nice turn and touch after picking up Kaderabek's pass with his back to goal. A deflection forces the ball wide, though, with Freiburg defending well.
59'

PETERSEN IN THE RIGHT PLACE!

Perfect work from the striker as he positions himself at the back post as Günter winds up a strike from the left corner of the box, aiming for the far bottom corner. He drags his effort, but in the end it turns into the dream pass for Petersen to get on the end of, and so he does, tapping the ball into the back of Baumann's net.

ALMOST PERFECT FROM FRANTZ

Günter goes low and hard with his corner kick in a training ground move as Frantz peels away from his marker. He attempts to turn the ball on to his left foot to get a shot away, but the defender puts in a good block as he went to take his strike at goal.
53'

FRANTZ AND HABERER ALMOST AGAIN

The combination for Freiburg's second goal almost came together for the third goal. Another mistake in the Hoffenheim defence gave the ball away in a dangerous spot and Frantz dinked the ball to the back post with Haberer waiting. He goes for the spectacular with a volley, but miscues it totally.
49'

BEBOU CLOSE AGAIN FOR HOFFENHEIM

Fantastic in-swinging cross from Stafylidis who curls the ball into the middle of the box with Locadia and Bebou in the area. It bounces to the back post and Bebou, but the forward's header is wide of the mark. The Greek left-back's cross deserved more there, an outstanding effort.
48'

HEINTZ DOWN

The centre-back took a shot from a free-kick straight to the face there and he's down and looking dizzy.
46'

DOUBLE CHANGE

A tactical switch around here from Schroder who has gone to a four-man defence with Locadia and Rupp on in place of Bicakcic and Grillitsch.

FREIBURG TAKING ADVANTAGE OF HOFFENHEIM

The visitors have been clinical in taking advantage of some mistakes at the back from Hoffenheim. While they haven't been glaring errors, Freiburg have made them look more serious with the goals they have scored. Günter and Haberer both providing superb, composed finishes for their goals. Freiburg have now equalled a club record for goals scored in the opening four games, with their ninth of the season.

BEBOU FORCES A SAVE

A nicely dinked ball forward from Geiger sets Bebou away on goal. He goes for the near post with his strike, but Schwolow is again on hand to keep the ball out. He's also played a key role in this half with a number of decent saves.
42'

FREIBURG'S PRESSING WORKING WONDERS

The home side are struggling to keep possession in tight spaces here, with Freiburg able to win the ball high up the pitch and take advantage.
38'

FREIBURG AT THE DOUBLE

A lovely finish from Haberer after some disappointing defending. The ball goes towards the edge of the box and it's not dealt with, as Frantz challenges Bicakcic and wins the ball before laying it off to Haberer in the middle of the pitch at the edge of the box. He produces a lovely, composed finish into the far bottom corner to make it a two-goal lead for Freiburg.

BIG CHANCE FOR KADERABEK

Amazing long ball from Rudy to the back post of the Freiburg box, and Kaderabek does superbly to beat Heintz to win his header. But he can't get his effort on target.
30'

GOOOO... NO!

Höler is afforded far too much time and space as he approaches the Hoffenheim box, so decides to shoot at goal. Baumann can only parry it back into the middle of the box and Petersen is first to the rebound, finding the bottom corner. But Petersen was offside when Höler shot at goal.
28'

FREIBURG'S SCORING RECORD VS. HOFFENHEIM

The team from the Black Forrest in Germany have scored at least once in each of their 10 away matches at Hoffenheim. Incredibly, though, only one of those games has ended with Freiburg on the winning side.
25'

FREIBURG SO WELL-DRILLED

You can see the meticulous work of Christian Streich every time Freiburg come on the pitch. They keep shape and structure well in-game, and clearly have a gameplan to counter while frustrating the opponent with persistent pressing.
23'

BIG CHANCES FOR FREIBURG

A well-worked free-kick opens space for Petersen who breaks away from his marker. His shot is saved by Baumann but falls loose in front of goal. Höler attempts to mop it up, but Baumann saves again from his effort from the floor. The linesman's flag is raised, though, to save Freiburg's blushes.
16'

END-TO-END STUFF HERE

Hoffenheim have had a couple of chances since going behind, but Freiburg still able to get on the ball and counter themselves. Höler just dragged a shot well wide of the mark, but the game is opening up rapidly here with both sides stretching the game wide and finding space.
15'

KADERABEK HAS A GO!

Belfodil turns provider this time as his pass across the edge of the Freiburg box reaches Kaderabek, who shoots with his left foot towards the left side of the goal. Again, Schwolow is well-placed to deal with the danger with a solid save.
13'

SCHWOLOW SAVES FROM BELFODIL

Good chance immediately in response from the home side as Belfodil battles off the challenge of Heintz before shooting across goal. The Freiburg No.1 is down well to palm the ball away to his right, though.
11'

GÜNTER GETS THE OPENER

The left wing-back has opened the scoring here with a rare goal. Only his third ever in the Bundesliga as he finds space down his flank from an outstanding pass forward by Heintz. Going into a one-on-one with Vogt approaching the Hoffenheim box, he moves onto his left foot before smashing the ball across goal, beyond Baumann's reach and into the bottom corner.
7'

BOTH SIDS FINDING THEIR WAY

Hoffenheim have enjoyed more of the possession in the opening minutes and have pressed the game forward with that. Freiburg, though, look comfortable in defence as well as both sides figure each other out in these opening minutes.

UNDERWAY IN SINSHEIM

The sun is shining here in the village of Sinsheim as we get things underway between Hoffenheim and Freiburg.
Kick-off!

A GOALS GALORE FIXTURE

There were 10 goals scored in the two fixtures between these two sides last season. Another seven in the double-header the season before that. It's fair to say, these sides love scoring goals against each other. Same again today?

BIG INCENTIVE FOR FREIBURG

The visitors today can extend their strong start to the season and leapfrog Bayern Munich into third with a win. Christian Streich's side have won two of their three league games so far this season, and will be looking to bounce back from the defeat suffered before the international break at home to Cologne.

HOFFENHEIM AS YOU COULD EXPECT

Ermin Bicakcic is preferred to Benjamin Hübner in Hoffenheim's three-man defence. Dennis Geiger also preferred to Robert Skov in the No.10 role, supporting Ihlas Bebou and Ishak Belfodil in attack. Plenty of attacking options on the bench for the hosts, even with star man Andrej Kramaric still sidelined.

FREIBURG ROTATING

A surprise in the Freiburg starting XI is that Luca Waldschmidt is only on the bench. After being among the Germany squad for the first time last week, the 23-year-old striker has been dropped to the bench with Lucas Höler preferred in attack. Brandon Borrello also drops to the bench.
