No Hecking, no Dufner

Dieter Hecking was not granted a reunion with his former club - on Monday, the manager was ultimately dismissed after Bochum's poor start to the season. The same applies to sporting director Dirk Dufner. On an interim basis, the previous U19 coach David Siebers has taken over the management of the first team.

Good memories for Klose

Miroslav Klose scored his first Bundesliga hat-trick back in September 2004 away in Bochum – and that came as a substitute! He also provided an assist, as Bremen won 4-1.

Nuremberg's bogey team

Nuremberg last won against Bochum on 21 September 2017 in a 3-1 home win. That was also Nuremberg's only victory in 16 Bundesliga 2 meetings with Bochum, with the Ruhr club claiming 10 wins. Five games ended as draw.

Bochum looking to extend their streak
