More on that Düsseldorf team
Düsseldorf's coach Daniel Thioune is forced into several changes. With Appelkamp, Lunddal, Rossmann and Egouli all unavailable today, Daland, Breithaupt, Celar and Suso come into the starting line-up instead. It will be the first appearance of the season for Suso, Breithaupt and Daland.
More on that Münster team
There are two changes to the side that started the 2-1 away win in Bochum on the last matchday: Heuer and Amenyido are out of the squad, with Scherder and Lokotsch replacing them today.

Preußen's home streak
Münster have won their last five home matches against Fortuna and have kept clean sheets in the last four. Düsseldorf's last away win at the Preußenstadion dates back to November 1999 (2-1 in the Regionalliga under then-manager Jürgen Gelsdorf).
No points sharing in sight
In the last 14 competitive matches between both teams, there has always been a winner (six times Düsseldorf, eight times Münster). The last time they shared the points was in 1969 (1-1 in Münster in the Regionalliga West, with Werner Tonk and Reiner Geye the goalscorers).
Another 1-0 home win?
In 2024/25, the home team won 1-0 in each match: Jano ter Horst scored to give Münster a home victory over Fortuna, while Düsseldorf won 1-0 at home with 10 men - after Myron van Brederode was sent off - thanks to a goal from Dawid Kownacki.
Traditional rivalry
There have been over 50 competitive matches between Münster and Düsseldorf, but it was only last season that they faced each other at this level. All over meetings came below the second division.
