Full-time: Bochum 1-2 Dynamo Dresden
The visitors from Dresden had Bochum under control in the first half and struck clinically twice. Bochum, on the other hand, were clearly dominant after the break, first scoring to pull one back and then missing a great chance to equalise from the spot. Dresden have thereofore ended their eight-match winless run, while Bochum suffer their first defeat under Uwe Rösler.

Where's the gap?
VfL can't really get forward anymore, Dresden are closing down the spaces.

Into stoppage time
Four additional minutes have been indicated, two of which have already passed. Can Bochum still manage to salvage a result?
90'
Pannewig!
Another good opportunity for the 21-year-old, who sends a volley over the crossbar from inside the opponent's penalty area.
89'
Another booking
Müller sees yellow for blocking Koscierski on the right touchline in midfield.
86'
Time for one last twist?
Bochum are pushing and pressing and have recorded 15 shots to two in the second half so far! In the entire first half, Bochum only had three attempts.

Into the wall
Wittek takes on the free kick, but blasts the ball straight into the wall. Dresden remain on the front foot, can they hold on to their lead until the final whistle?
81'
Risky yellow
Rossipal takes down Miyoshi right on the edge of the penalty area. A few centimetres further forward and we would be talking about another penalty here.

Penalty!
Grill is played to in his goal and wants to dribble past the onrushing Hofmann, but loses the ball. The Dynamo keeper lunges into a tackle and only sends the striker down - leading to a penalty to the hosts.

Constant Bochum pressure
Following another corner, Holtmann initially hits a shot from distance, which is blocked at the last moment by the defence in the penalty area. More pressure follows with a cross from the right side - and Strompf tests Grill with a header from around the penalty spot, forcing a good save.
68'
That should have been the equaliser!
Hofmann and Pannewig combine with a neat one-two, and Grill finds himself alone in the Dresden penalty area with only the goalkeeper to beat. However, the Bochum player's shot is hit too centrally.
66'
Stamm reacts
Bochum are piling on the pressure, and Dresden's coach brings on two fresh players to try to rejuvenate his side.

Bochum on the front foot
Bochum want to press on right away. A cross from the left side by Holtmann reaches Hofmann, who heads it wide of the left post.

Harmless
The visitors are awarded another corner kick, but it lands right on Hofmann's head. The Bochum striker clears confidently in his own penalty area.

Onto the roof of the goal
Rossipal turns a long-range shot from Miyoshi behind with his head for a corner. Wittek cracks it directly towards the Dresden goal, but places it on top of the net. A cheeky attempt.

Bochum invited forward
In the first few minutes of the second half, Dresden entice the visitors deep into their half, but Bochum are hardly finding any space. Holtmann then has a bit of room on the left and wants to cross the ball into the middle, but is blocked by Faber. Eventually, it ends up being a goal kick for Dresden.
46'
We're back underway
Dresden see no reason for changes, but it's different for Bochum. Rösler brings on fresh attacking power with Hofmann and Miyoshi. Will it make a difference? We shall see.

Half-time: Bochum 0-2 Dynamo Dresden
It's a tough one for Bochum, who go into the dressing room with a two-goal deficit. The outstanding Rossipal and Vermeij, with his first competitive goal for Dresden, have made the difference.

Dresden double their lead!
In stoppage time, the visitors strike again! Rossipal whips the ball in from the left in front of the Bochum goal, where it - deflected by Passlack - reaches Vermeij. The Dutchman just sticks his boot out and deflects the ball unstoppably into the far corner, where Horn stretches in vain to reach it.

Attacking with pace
Holtmann uses his speed on the left, runs past Pauli and ultimately smashes the ball into the side netting from a tight angle. He should have squared it to the middle instead.
38'
Dominant Dynamo
The 1-0 lead seems to have done Dresden some good, as the visitors are dictating the tempo, while Bochum are struggling to sustain any attacking pressure.
35'
So close
Strompf flaps at a cross from the right side, and Hauptmann gets a big goal-scoring opportunity at the left post. His finish from a tight angle goes almost parallel to the goal line, and in the middle, Hauptmann almost slid into the ball. He was just a few centimetres away from making it 2-0 there.

New territory for Rösler
Bochum's coach finds himself trailing for the first time in charge of Bochum - against the club he previously played for.
29'
Bochum on the attack
Wittek gets a chance from a free-kick on the right in front of the Dresden penalty area and curls the ball towards the near post. A visiting defender throws himself in the way.
27'
Ball cleared away
Pauli feels the need to kick the ball away and receives a yellow card.
26'
Dynamo are in front!
A high cross from the right side is met by Rossipal at the penalty spot with a first-time effort, but it's initially blocked. He makes no such mistake at the second attempt, smashing the ball into the net. Horn gets a foot to it, but from that short distance has no real chance of saving it - and it's 1-0 to Dresden!

Phew!
19'
Here come Dynamo!
The visitors have their first notable opportunity. A cross from the right side to the penalty spot is not controlled well by Vermeij, and Rossipal, positioned behind him, gets to strike. He doesn't get much power behind the ball though, and puts it about two metres wide of the right post...

Wittek in the wars
After Dresden take a corner, Wittek accidentally gets Boeder's hand in his face and goes down slightly dazed. The Bochum player needs brief treatment from the team doctors, but is able to continue.
12'
Dynamo on the ball
Now it's the visitors who are moving the ball well through their own ranks. At the end of their move, Müller loses the ball on the left touchline, however.
9'
Bochum slightly more active
After taking ten points from their last four matches, Bochum are clearly confident. They are pressing high up the pitch and have had more of the play in the opening minutes.
6'
Passlack in the way
At the other end of the field, Hauptmann tries a shot from the left side of the penalty area, and Passlack deflects it out for a corner - which comes to nothing.
5'
Two corners cleared
Wittek's first corner is cleared at the near post into touch, and his second attempt isn't much better. Although the ball goes towards the far post this time, Dynamo were alert and can clear the danger.
4'
First goal attempt
Alfa-Ruprecht is sent through with a long ball down the right and attempts a high cross at full speed. Pauli is alert and clears decisively for a corner.
