Will the visitors' streak continue?
Karlsruhe are unbeaten in their last eight Bundesliga 2 matches. Their last defeat came against Hertha, of all teams at the end of last season, when they lost 3-1.
Sessa back fit
Last week, Kevin Sessa was forced to sit out due to muscular problems. However, today he has returned to the squad and will be hoping for his first appearance of the season.
Karlsruhe team news
Karlsruhe head coach Eichner elects to start with the same eleven as that which beat Münster on Matchday 1. Burnić, who has recently returned to the squad thus starts on the bench. Once again opting to field two attacking midfielders, Eichner goes with a 3-3-2-2 formation.
Hertha team news
For the Berlin outfit, Gechter returns to the back three. Zeefuik takes his place on the right flank, meaning Eitschberger starts on the bench. In central midfield, Jensen starts in place of Demme, with the hosts opting for a 3-4-2-1 formation today.

Reese's pieces of history at KSC
Fabian Reese played his first 10 Bundesliga 2 matches for Karlsruhe in the 2016/17 season, one which ultimately ended in relegation for the club and without Reese finding the back of the net. He's had more success as an opponent and in 10 subsequent matches against KSC, Reese has scored five times, including a brace in March's previous encounter.
Guaranteed goals?
There were 41 goals scored across the last nine competitive matches between the two teams, averaging a quite incredible 4.55 goals per game.
A long friendship
These two clubs enjoy a close connection through supporters that is pretty much unheard of elsewhere. They formed a "fan friendship" back in 1976 and they will not only happily share the same space as each other, they also sing the others' songs.
Hertha double
This weekend's hosts won both encounters last season, and each by a 3-1 scoreline. On home soil, the Old Lady's recent record reads at six wins and two draws from the last eight competitive meetings between the two in Berlin. Karlsruhe's last triumph at Hertha was 41 years ago, in May 1984.
