Signed, sealed, delivered!
Another brilliant counter from HSV. Schalke send everyone forward, including goalkeeper Müller, for a free-kick, but the hosts manage to clear and eventually Dompe runs clear to put the seal in a huge win for Hamburg.
We have a winner!
HSV have been pushing for it and finally they get their reward! Glatzel latches on to a ball in the box, takes a touch to evade Müller before squeezing a shot in from a tight angle. That's surely done it!
Muheim meets a cross from the left at the front post and flicks it goalwards. Somehow Matriciani manages to get a foot to it and the ball rolls just wide.
Another goal disallowed
It's Glatzel this time, who heads in from Pherai's free-kick, but he's offside and it won't count!
HSV go so close to getting a winner as Muheim bends a brilliant shot from the left, from around 30 yards, onto the post. The rebound comes at Glatzel, but he can't quite react quickly enough to finish.
Benes has the ball in the net but it's ruled out for offside.
Setting out their stalls
Both coaches make two substitutions as they bid to steer the course of the game in the closing stages.
All to play for
HSV are going for this now. They've got 15 minutes to find a winner!
Schalke down to 10 men!
As if there hadn't already been enough twists and turns in this game, we now have another one. Cisse is shown a second yellow card for a clumsy challenge to bring down Meffert, so now the visitors will see out the rest of the game with 10 men.
That's now a goal to go with his two assists in this game for the Schalke forward. Terodde's strike takes him to 173 goals in Bundesliga 2 - extending his record in the division.
What is going on?!?
The very definition of a topsy turvy game! Schalke are now on level terms... again! Just minutes after HSV equalised then took the lead, Schalke are back in it. Terodde collects a long ball forward, fends of Ramos and then picks out a spot in the bottom corner. 3-3 now!
According to the xG expected goals metric, HSV should be winning this one by a considerable margin.
A textbook counterattack from HSV! They went from defending a Schalke corner to sprinting forward with five attackers, ending with Benes collecting Glatzel's pass and chipping it over Müller!
All square again
Benes steps up to take the spot kick and places a firmly hit shot into the bottom right-hand corner, with Müller diving the other way.
Penalty to HSV!
Glatzel tries to latch on to Pherai's clever through ball and is brought down by Cisse. It's a clear penalty for the home side.
Terodde goal disallowed
A stunning finish from Terodde from 25 yards, hitting a first-time strike from Ouwejan's pass from the left. He's offside though, so it won't count.
The HSV talisman is first to a cross from the left and his shot from close range at full stretch is superbly saved by Müller.
Aware that they were always likely to face a HSV storm early in this half, Schalke are being aggressive in the tackles as they try to preserve their lead.
Can HSV turn this one around?

What a goal!
Schalke take the lead! In the second minute of added time at the end of the first half, the Royal Blues have turned the game around. HSV struggle to clear a Schalke attack down the left and the ball falls kindly for Ouwejan, who smashes a sublime first-time shot into the corner!
Heyer arrives into the box unnoticed and has space to shoot, but it's blocked for a corner.

HSV hit the post!
Müller is keeping Schalke in the game here, having made five important saves so far. His latest one comes from a fierce Öztunali drive from 10 yards out, which the S04 stopper tips onto the woodwork!

Over from Ramos!
Benes curls a free-kick from the left into the box and finds Ramos at the far post. but the defender can't keep his shot down and balloons it over the bar.
Just wide from Pherai!
A stunning cushioned header from Glatzel to tee up Pherai as he charges into the box. His left-footed shot beats Müller but rolls agonisingly wide of the far post.
Move over Julian Draxler, Leroy Sane, Mesut Özil... Assan Ouedraogo is now officially Schalke's youngest-ever goalscorer! Draxler was the previous record holder, but he was about 6 weeks older than Ouedraogo is now when he netted his first goal for the Royal Blues.
Brilliant stuff from the 17-year-old, who is making his professional debut in this game. He collects a cushioned pass inside the box from Terodde, before jinking past two defenders to rifle the ball into the bottom corner!
HSV almost make it two!
A brilliant run from Meffert down the left creates an opening for Pherai, but his shot from 10 yards out is brilliantly saved by Müller!
It had been coming and now finally Hamburg have their goal! Patient play around the Schalke box from the hosts, with the ball worked out wide to the right to Pherai, who slides it across the face of goal for the HSV striker to tap home!
Heuer Fernandes to the rescue!
The HSV goalkeeper makes his first save to keep out an angled drive from Karaman from the left.
Chance for Königsdörffer!
Lovely play from HSV as Glatzel spies Königsdörffer's diagonal run from right to left behind the Schalke defence. He threads a perfectly weighted pass into his path and suddenly he's only got the goalkeeper to beat, but his first touch lets him down and the visitors manage to clear.
HSV bossing it
Another chance for HSV, this time for Königsdörffer, but his effort from close range is saved by Müller! The hosts could be 3-0 up already!
Glatzel does well to hold off his marker on the edge of the box before curling a vicious shot towards the right-hand post, but Müller produces a fine save to keep it out!
Benes swings in a corner from the left and finds Königsdörffer at the front post. The attacker heads it goalwards but it's blocked.
Here we go!

"That's totally normal and it's the same for all sides, not just us. The important thing is that we keep on developing as a team and improve every week. Promotion is the aim, but we have to show we want the three points every time we play."
