"Hoffenheim have some players with serious individual quality, as well as firepower up top. It's going to be another battle, but we’ve done our homework. The players are full of energy and enthusiasm. We can feel that and we want to reach that next level. I’m confident that’ll we’ll come away from the game on Saturday and next week’s match with good results."

Matarazzo's thoughts on Mainz

"We accept everything that comes our way. Augsburg were also in a flow. It won't be an easy task. Mainz play very intensely and defend unconditionally. We have to be there immediately to have a chance. We need 100 percent focus over 90 minutes. Our task will be to hold our own."
