Mainz’s 50 goals scored in Bundesliga games against Hoffenheim is the most they’ve managed against any club in the top flight. They’re spearheaded this season by Jae-sung Lee, who has seven goals and three assists.

TSG have lost nine of their last 10 Bundesliga games, including all five since the midpoint of the season. It’s 12 in a row without victory (D2, L10), which equals their worst run ever from 2008/09.

The 05ers have won three Bundesliga games in a row, while their 12 points from five games in the Rückrunde is in fact second only to Borussia Dortmund (15). Mainz have also won their last three home fixtures in the league, having managed just one victory in their first eight at the MEWA-Arena.
