Angelino and Nkunku - two of Leipzig's best players - get a breather. Long-serving striker Poulsen and Leipzig's youngest ever goalscorer Novoa enter the fray.

Nkunku gets his obligatory goal. Forsberg drifts in off the left, biding his time before squeezing a ball between Fürth's right-back and right-sided central defender. Nkunku looks up, and guides the ball with unerring accuracy into the far corner for his 15th Bundesliga strike of a career-best campaign.

And it almost does. Angelino is the provider from a corner, but Halstenberg's header is cleared off the line by Itter.

Halstenberg, having made his injury comeback in the DFB Cup quarter-finals, breathes Bundesliga air for the first time this season. Dominik Szoboszlai is also on for the visitors. This could get very ugly for Fürth.

Fürth are all at sea as Forsberg sends over a free-kick from the right. Simakan meets it, completely unmarked in a central position, to send a towering header past the crestfallen Linde.

Simakan sells Gulacsi short, but the Leipzig keeper is quick to read the danger and clear.

Leipzig threatening again as Henrichs and Nkunku have shots blocked.

Leipzig are running away with it. Nkunku is at the heart of the move, spinning on the spot before releasing Angelino to his left. As ever, the cross is a peach, and Henrichs arrives at the back stick to slide home. Surely no way back for Fürth....?

Henrichs arrows a ball from right to left. Forsberg connects on the run, but his cross-shot sails across the six-yard box and out.

That Leweling goal feels like a distant memory as Leipzig make it 3-1. A Fürth free-kick in opposition territory is cleared. Angelino kick-starts the counter, finding Silva on the right-hand side. He pings a ball up towards the edge of the area for Nkunku, who cushions his header into the feet of Laimer. Linde races out, but can do nothing to keep out the dinked finish. Sensational counter-attacking goal.

Leipzig take the lead! A short corner is played to Nkunku. He sweeps it back to Forsberg, who lashes in from outside the area. Superb hit, but Linde got hands to the ball and will feel he should have kept that out.

Brilliant from Nkunku. He takes Gvardiol's through-ball in his stride, turning his man inside-out, only to see his goal-bound effort deflected over by Bauer.

Leipzig with a lightning-quick transition as Lainer robs Nielsen. Silva feeds Nkunku, whose inventive back-heel reaches Forsberg on the edge of the area. He drives over, though.

Nkunku with a devilish free-kick from the right. Simakan rises highest at the far post, but glances his header wide. Only Freiburg have scored more set-piece goals than Leipzig this term...

That's Silva's 50th Bundesliga goal, on his 83rd appearance. It's also his 10th league strike of the current campaign - seven of which have come since Tedesco took over from Jesse Marsch.

Angelino in space down the left. The cross is right on the money for Silva to head home at the near post. All square - and you have to say, it has been coming.

Leipzig seeing more of the ball in the wide areas now with Angelino and Henrichs. Fürth deal with a couple of crosses into the box, though.

Warning signs for Fürth just now. Not long after Nkunku tries his luck, Laimer plays in Silva. He attempts to go past the spread-eagle Linde, but the angle's tight and his touch is heavy. Goal-kick.
