Let-off for Kimmich
The midfielder loses possession just outside the Bayern box and the ball comes to Boniface, who puts it in the net. It won't count though, as the Nigeria international was offside.

Waters settling
All of those changes have disrupted the rhythm somewhat.

Díaz!
A chance for the Colombian as he powers forward and shoots but his strike whistles just wide of the post.
72'
Next chance for Sugawara!
Schmid does well to spread the ball out to the right for Sugawara, who cuts inside his marker and shoots with his left foot. It's always rising though, and the ball sails well over.

Milestone goal!
Díaz leads the charge as Bayern counter, jinking his way forward down the left and into the box before dinking the ball into Kane's path. The 32-year-old opens up his body and slots in his 100th goal for Bayern, in just his 104th game. That's a new record, beating the previous best of 105 matches set by Erling Haaland and Cristiano Ronaldo upon reaching centuries.

All change
Mindful of Bayern's midweek trip to face Pafos in the Champions League on Tuesday, Kompany brings on some fresh legs. Boniface comes on for Bremen at the same time, offering a more physical presence up top.

First effort on target!
Bremen finally test Neuer as Sugawara charges forward on the overlap. He shoots from a tight angle and stings Neuer's palms as he saves for a corner.

Bayern break
Olise leads the charge forward down the left as Bayern counter. He sprays the ball to his right for Olise but he runs into too many bodies in the box and the visitors clear.

Chance for Stage
Bremen's best move of the game ends with a presentable opening for Stage, arriving into the Bayern box late. His first-time strike ballons well over the bar though.
55'
Over from Gnabry!
The German international has a little pocket of space after receiving the ball from Kane. He lashes another shot at goal but it fizzes just over.

More of the same
So far this half is following the same pattern as the first, with Bayern patiently probing for spaces against Bremen's deep-lying defence.

Olise has a go
The France international drops a shoulder and shuffles inside his marker from the right before aiming a curling shot towards the far post. He strikes it well but it lacks the pace to beat Hein, who makes a routine save.

Brilliant from Friedl!
Bayern look on course to get their second of the game as Gnabry crosses low from the right. Kane is arriving at the back post but Friedl slides in to deny him a certain goal.
35'
Gnabry!
Olise is involved again as he shimmies into the right-hand side of the Bremen box. He slips the ball to his outside to Gnabry on the overlap, and his first-time shot goes just wide of the far post.

Kane thwarted again!
Bremen once again lose possession to cheaply deep inside their own half. Goretzka flicks the ball forward to Kane, who creates an angle to shoot and hammers a left-footed effort at goal. Hein makes another good save.

Delightful finish!
Bremen struggle to clear a corner and the ball is worked back out to the right to Olise. He's given space to cut inside onto his stronger left boot and float a cross into the box, where Tah back-heels it into the net!

All Bayern
Bayern are camped out inside the Bremen half, probing for spaces around the penalty area. The visitors have tightened things up since allowing Bayern those three early chances, but they haven't managed to make any significant inroads at the other end of the pitch.
14'
Laimer in behind!
A lovely pass from Díaz sends Laimer scampering to the byline on the left. He tries to cut the ball back into the middle but it's blocked for a corner.

Early chance
Bayern's high press nearly pays instant dividends as the ball comes to Olise, who pokes it through for Bayern. The England captain uncharacteristically fires wide of the target though.

More on those teams
Kompany makes five changes to the Bayern side that started the 4-1 win in Hofffenheim. Dayot Upamecano is recalled in defence, while there's a new midfield pivot of Leon Goretzka and Tom Bischof. Serge Gnabry and Michael Olise are recalled in attack, with Nicolas Jackson joining the likes of Joshua Kimmich and Aleksandar Pavlović on the bench. As for Bremen, there's a Bundesliga debut in goal for Arsenal loanee Karl Hein. Juventus-owned forward Samuel Mbangula returns to the team at the expense of Marco Grüll.
