Pauli up for the cup

Pauli picked up a morale-boosting 2-1 victory in Mönchengladbach in the DFB Cup last 16 on Tuesday. It was the Hamburg-based club's first competitive win since they knocked out Hoffenheim on penalties in the previous round on 28 October. Martijn Kaars and Louis Oppie scored the goals for the Kiezkicker.

El Mala's late equaliser in Bremen was Cologne's 11th goal of the season to fall in the final 15 minutes of matches, including added time. That's a fraction over half of their 21-goal total after 12 games!
