WHAT A CHANCE FOR REUS!

He can't believe he's not scored and neither can anyone else in the stadium. Guerreiro again with the cross from the left which goes over Brandt and lands perfectly for Reus to smack at goal from 10 yards out on the volley. He goes for too much power, though, and sends it high over the crossbar on his left foot. Will that be the chance Dortmund come to rue at full-time?

BAYERN PRESSING HIGH

The defending champions aren't making this easy for Dortmund as they continue to go for goal themselves at the other end. Dortmund defending their pressure well, and looking for the long ball again here.

IT'S NOT EVER YET!

Haaland finally has his goal and Dortmund have hope. Sensational play from Guerreiro who scoops a pass over the Bayern defence for Haaland, who controls and takes the ball past Neuer before squeezing the ball home past Alaba on the line.

That's what Bayern were looking for as they win the ball on the edge of their own box. Goretzka finds Lewandowski who starts the Bayern break. He plays in Sane, who enters the Dortmund box and shoots across goal from in front of Akanji. Neither he nor Bürki in goal can stop that from going in.

Martinez is into the Bayern defence while Sane replaces Coman on the wing. Meanwhile, Dortmund have brought on Brandt and Hazard for Reyna and Sancho.

52'

HAALAND MISSES AGAIN!

HUGE CHANCE FOR HAALAND!

That's the best chance the home side have had as Delaney's dream of a pass sends Reyna in with Haaland in support. A big, big chance goes begging.

LEWANDOWSKI'S EARLY CHANCE

8'

LONG BALLS SO FAR

Dortmund's tactic in these early stages has been to search for Haaland, Reus and Reyna in behind the Bayern defence with long balls over the top. Flick's defensive line is high up the pitch as expected, and the home side are looking to exploit it.
6'

FIRST GO AT GOAL

Reyna is sent behind the Bayern defence but can't quite get a shot on goal. He works the ball back to Guerreiro, who sees Witsel reaching the edge of the Bayern box. The Belgian goes for goal, but his low drive drags wide of the mark.
5'

FAST START

The intensity, as expected, is already sky-high here in Dortmund. Both sides going at full-throttle both with and without the ball.
3'

HAALAND ON THE RUN

Sancho does well in the build-up as he finds Delaney in midfield, who sends Haaland away at goal. He has Boateng in pursuit and the angle is getting ever-tighter as he closes on goal so the No.9 looks for Reus with a cut-back. Neuer is out well to gather this time.
1'

LEWANDOWSKI ALREADY!

An early chance for Bayern as Hernandez's cross is only half-cleared by Akanji, and Gnabry gets onto the loose ball. He cuts back inside past the Swiss defender and Lewandowski strikes at goal from close range. This one hitting the side-netting.

ALL EYES ON RECORD ROBERT

With 10 goals to show for his first five appearances of the new Bundesliga campaign - he was rested on Matchday 6 - Lewandowski is once again the man to beat at the top of the scoring charts. The Bayern striker was on target in the Matchday 1 rout of Schalke, and has since swelled his tally considerably with respective four- two- and three-goal salvos against Hertha Berlin, Arminia Bielefeld and Eintracht Frankfurt. His only blank fell in the 4-1 defeat to Hoffenheim on Matchday 2 - a punch-drunk Bayern’s third competitive encounter of a bumper week and one he only joined with 33 minutes remaining.

SANCHO'S NIGHT TO COME ALIVE?

Dortmund's top scorer in the Bundesliga last season is yet to get off the mark in 2020/21. The 20-year-old Englishman will be coming out all guns blazing to help his side find a way to score tonight against Bayern, with Haaland, Reus and Reyna all in support.

WATCH: HAALAND VS. LEWANDOWSKI - ANALYSIS

Haaland has plundered his five league goals this season - all of them at the Signal Iduna Park - at a rate of one every 77 minutes. Lewandowski has scored his league-high 10 at a rate of one per 37.

MANUEL NEUER INTERVIEW

"Lewy definitely has the experience and he has great timing and is very strong in the box. Haaland is a player that often drops deep and he plays more in straight lines because of his pace. Lewy is more two-footed than Haaland, who uses his left foot a lot. I hope he won't surprise me with his right foot!" DORTMUND TEAM NEWS

Haaland hit a brace as Dortmund moved top of Champions League Group F thanks to a 3-0 win away to Brugge on Wednesday. It was a seventh clean sheet in nine games this term for Lucien Favre's side, who have by far the best defensive record in the league in 2020/21, having shipped just two to date. Mats Hummels has made a significant contribution to that - as well as scoring BVB's last three Bundesliga goals - and the centre-back should be fit enough to start on Saturday after missing the midweek trip to Belgium with a thigh complaint. Thomas Delaney should slot into the now-customary back four should Hummels not make it, although Emre Can is also available having been self-isolating. Gio Reyna could be set for his first start in a Klassiker, dovetailing with Jadon Sancho and Marco Reus in attacking midfield behind Haaland.

BAYERN TEAM NEWS

Lewandowski took his tally for the season to 12 goals in eight competitive outings as Bayern overran Red Bull Salzburg in the closing stages of their Champions League tie on Tuesday, and, after being rested for the Matchday 6 victory away to Cologne last week, will be raring to go against his former side. Coach Hansi Flick rarely tinkers with his team too much, so the Polish goal-getter is likely to continue to be supported in the final third Thomas Müller, Serge Gnaby and Kingsley Coman, although Leroy Sane is now fully fit again and pushing for a fourth league start of the season. The defending champions will be forced to make one change from the Cologne game though, as Niklas Süle is in quarantine, so Jerome Boateng is expected to partner David Alaba in central defence. Alphonso Davies' ongoing absence means Lucas Hernandez should begin at left-back once more, while Leon Goretzka could return to the side following a minor calf strain.
