ADDED TIME
We're into four minutes of added time here in a rainy Bremen.
89'
GUILAVOGUI RETURNS
The Wolfsburg captain is back on the Bundesliga pitch. His first appearance since Matchday 22.
88'
HUGE CHANCE
Gerhardt almost makes it two-nil as he makes a perfect run into the Bremen box, but his shot is saved superbly by Pavlenka.
87'
WEGHORST SNATCHES AT ONE
The Dutch striker is found on the edge of the Bremen box by Roussillon but can't get his effort on target.
86'
LAST CHANCE SALOON NOW
The home side bring on two strikers in Woltemade and Selke with an equaliser and a point now the order of the day.
82'
WEGHORST GETS THE GOAL!
There it is for Wolfsburg and we have an opening. A mistake from the home side in attack is countered. Mbabu finds Klaus on the right flank in space and his cross to the near post is met perfectly by Weghorst and headed home. His 12th goal of the season, and first since Matchday 24. Huge relief for the Dutchman to put Wolfsburg ahead.
81'
SCHLAGER HITS THE BAR!
Closest we've come to a goal here in Bremen. Ginczek and Brekalo have shots blocked in the Bremen box after a free-kick wasn't cleared by the home defence. The ball then runs loose to Schlager on the edge of the box and he laces a powerful shot goalward, which cannons out of the upright.
80'
SUBSTITUTE BOOKED
Bittencourt is cautioned here just a few minutes after coming on. He tries to intercept a pass to Klaus but catches the Wolfsburg forward instead.
78'
FINAL THIRD PASSING LACKING
Both sides are hovering at around 80 per cent pass completion for this game, with most of those stay passes coming in the opposition's final third. One of the key reasons we are still goalless as we approach the final 10 minutes.
74'
GOOD CHANCE FOR SCHLAGER
Brekalo passes to the edge of the Bremen box from a corner on the near side and Schlager meets it, shooting at goal first-time on his favoured left foot. But his curling effort drifts over the home side's goal.
72'
WILL WE SEE A WINNER?
Neither side will be happy with how things have gone so far, but there's still time to change the story. Just three shots on target from either side in this game so far. Can someone take one that breaks the deadlock?
68'
WEATHER TAKING A CHANGE
The rain is now pouring down in Bremen in this second half as it did for a moment in the late game yesterday at Dortmund. We'll have to see how long this rain holds out for.
64'
ATTACKING MOVES
Now it's Wolfsburg looking to freshen things up in attack with Klaus and Ginczek both on. Can they make a difference with 25 minutes to play?
61'
FIRST CHANGE
Bartles looking to bring fresh legs into midfield for Bremen and a more attacking option, replacing Bargfrede. Bartels was made to wait a few minutes while someone ran into the dressing room to get him some new boots.
59'
TIDY COUNTER
Victor sends Weghorst through the middle and he finds Mbabu out on the right. The Swiss full-back looks to return the favour to Weghorst in the box with a low cross, but it's blocked away. More of that needed from the away side to break the deadlock.
58'
PONGRACIC BOOKED
It's a beautiful turn from Sargent which sends him past the Wolfsburg defender, and he's forced to pull him back to stop the attack continuing.
54'
SCHLAGER IN THE BOOK
The midfielder is cautioned for a hard challenge on Sargent in midfield.
51'
BRIGHT START
The away side having the brighter start to this second half, with some pressure in possession around the Bremen box. Chances remain few and far between, though, with Weghorst - in particular - on the search for his first goal since March.
49'
SARGENT BOOKED
A yellow card for the USMNT forward for pulling back Roussillon. His second yellow card of the season.
46'
SECOND HALF BEGINS
We're back underway in Bremen for the second half.

45'
KLAASSEN BOOKED
A late challenge from the Dutchman on Arnold in midfield and he takes his sixth yellow card.
42'
APPROACHING THE BREAK
Wolfsburg are composed on the ball in defence, but have found it tough to break through the Bremen backline when pushing forward. The same can be said for the home side going the other way. Some changes will have to come from both sides if they want to get the scoring underway in the second half...
35'
HOPING FOR GOALS
History tells us this fixture is used to having the ball hit the back of the net. In the 45 meetings between these sides up to today, 159 goals have been scored, an average of 3.5 per game.
31'
OSAKO FORCES A SAVE
Superb football from the home side. A move that started with Vogt's passing breaking the lines from defence ends with Osako on the ball on the edge of the Wolfsburg box. He fires a shot at goal, but Casteels is across well to parry the ball behind.
25'
NEITHER SIDE IN CONTROL
It's been a very even half so far in Bremen. The away side have enjoyed the majority of the possession, but Bremen have had more attempts on the opposition goal thus far. Either of these sides would be delighted to get ahead before the break, but only if the other side's defence buckles under the pressure.
24'
BIG CHANCE
Great move from the home side. Klaassen crosses low into the box and it's dummies at the near post to Osak, who can't get the ball out of his feet and it runs loose behind him to Sargent who shoots, but it's a fantastic blocking challenge from the Wolfsburg defence.
15'
FIRST PRESSURE
The away side are now on top here and building pressing on the home side's defence in the last few minutes.
13'
WEGHORST IN BEHIND
Fantastic one-two between Weghorst and Victor and the Brazilian sends Weghorst away, he skips past Veljkovic defender to go clean through on goal but Pavlenka is out to close the gap before the Dutchman reaches the ball. He goes to flick the ball at goal, but Pavlenka gets a hand to it.
12'
BREKALO HAS A GO
The first attempt at goal of the game for the away side comes from Brekalo at distance, and flies past Pavlenka's goal with the Bremen No.1 happy to watch it go by.
11'
HIGH TEMPO
The home side doing things quickly on and off the ball, with coach Kohfeldt demanding a high tempo from the sidelines. Most of the good early play has come down the left side with Augustinsson.
7'
BREMEN STARTING WELL
The home side keeping Wolfsburg penned in their own box in the opening minutes here. Already two corners and one attempt at goal off target.
4'
THREE-MAN DEFENCE
As you can see looking at the average line-ups for the home side, it's a three-man defence for Bremen. Kevin Vogt is in the centre of it, with Gebre Selassie and Augustinsson released as wing-backs down either flank.

HERE WE GO!
A big game for both sides with three points the target as we get the ball rolling in Bremen.

KEY GAME FOR WOLFSBURG TOO
It's not just Bremen who have big things on the line in these final games of the season. Wolfsburg are fighting for the final UEFA Europa League qualification spots, and dropped one point behind Hoffenheim after their draw with Düsseldorf yesterday. A win today can take Wolfsburg back into 6th, two points ahead of Hoffenheim.
EVERY GAME A CUP FINAL NOW
So the saying goes for teams fighting against relegation at the end of the season, and it's the same story for Bremen today. They currently sit second bottom of the Bundesliga table, but just three points behind Fortuna Düsseldorf in the relegation play-off spot. A win today would of course take them level on points with their relegation rivals with four further matches to play.
TIME TO CHANGE THE STORY?
It's four-and-half years since Wolfsburg last beat Werder, but they have still scored more goals against the Green-Whites than against any other Bundesliga club (81). Star midfielder Maximilian Arnold has scored four goals in 13 meetings with Bremen - his best return against any Bundesliga club.
TIME TO TAME THE WOLVES AGAIN?
Bremen are unbeaten in their last eight meetings with Wolfsburg (W6, D2), winning four on the spin at home.
BREMEN TEAM NEWS
Three changes made by Florian Kohfeldt's team after their midweek defeat to Frankfurt at home. Davie Selke, Fin Bartles and Marco Friedl all drop out with Ludwig Augusinsson, Yuya Osako and Josh Sargent both returning to start. Bremen with the opportunity to immediately bounce back from that home defeat which was a postponed Matchday 24 fixture.
