The consolation goal
Justvan unintentionally clears a cross straight to Polter's feet, who only needs to tap it in. That was likely the last action of the match.
87'
No penalty
Braunschweig keeper Johansson dallies on the ball as the last man against Forkel and then brings him down, but play continues.

Blocked at the last moment
The substitute Osawe breaks through on the right side and then lays it off to Antiste, who only needs to tap it into the empty net. However, he's blocked at the very last second.

Emreli hat-trick
Nuremberg are toying with Braunschweig. The home side's loose defending provides Emreli with a one-v-one attempt, in which he prevails in style, slotting it into the left corner from the edge of the box.
41'
Kaufmann blocked
The new man immediately takes a shot from the edge of the penalty area, but it's blocked.
38'
Changes made
It has been a dismal performance so far from Eintracht, and this despite the fact that the chance for direct survival in the league is still possible with rival Münster trailing.
36'
Totally composed
With a three-goal lead, the visitors are currently allowing Braunschweig to have the ball. Nuremberg can afford to lye in wait for the next counter-attack.
33'
A sign of life?
Philippe receives the ball in the penalty area, shakes off his opponent and then has a chance to shoot from a tight angle. His low shot whistles past the left post.
31'
Dream goal for Justvan!
The visitors are steamrolling an overwhelmed Braunschweig. Everything is coming off for Nuremberg: Justvan sends a free-kick from near the right corner flag into the far corner. What a goal!
26'
Improved attempts
The home side are trying to take control of the match more and more, but Nuremberg are standing firm in defence and haven't allowed anything through so far.
24'
Will it be the relegation play-off?
Münster are currently trailing, but Eintracht would need to get at least a point here for direct survival.

Visitors set the tone
This game continues to flow in one direction. Nuremberg are playing with freedom and putting the relegation-threatened Braunschweig under considerable pressure.
10'
Nuremberg lead
After one more corner, Antiste is once again the target player. He flicks the ball on and finds Emreli, who has the easiest of tasks to tap in from close range.
9'
Another big chance
A corner from the right side lands at the near post, where Antiste tries to head the ball into the near corner. Once again, Johansson is alert and makes the save.

Almost the lead

More on those teams
Eintracht manager Daniel Scherning makes three changes to his starting lineup compared to the 3-0 defeat against Elversberg. Johansson, Bičakčić and Marie are all in from the start. Braunschweig's starting XI
Johansson - Jaeckel, Köhler, Bičakčić - Rittmüller, Marie, Krauße, Tempelmann, Bell Bell - Philippe, Tachie
Miroslav Klose on facing Braunschweig
"We went into the winter break after a good home win in the first half of the season [against Braunschweig]. That's also the goal for Sunday."
Daniel Scherning on facing Nuremberg
"Nuremberg will be an opponent who will also try everything to win this match. It's great that we're playing at home and that we have the fans behind us. We've won many important matches here. We've shown that we can deliver top performances here and that's the goal for Sunday."

Not a good omen
As a player, Miroslav Klose only faced Braunschweig once. In August 2003, Klose's goal was of little use as he lost 4-1 with then-Bundesliga side Kaiserslautern against third-tier Braunschweig in the DFB Cup.
Hometown anti-hero
Robin Knoche, born in Braunschweig but having never played for Eintracht, has won his last three competitive matches against Braunschweig, each by one goal to nil.
Good memories
A home match against Nuremberg on the final matchday - Braunschweig last experienced this in 1967, and it should evoke fond memories. On 3 June 1967, Eintracht became German champions for the only time in their history with a 4-1 home victory over Nuremberg. Only a year later, however, they were dethroned by the Club.
U17 World Champion joins from Cologne
Reinforcements have arrived from Cologne's youth academy: U17 World Champion Justin von der Hitz has joined Nuremberg from the Billy Goats.
