Completely out of nowhere!
Knoche launches a long ball forward, Tzimas controls and dribbles through before passing to Castrop, who beautifully sends Antiste into the penalty area on the right. Knight with a golden opportunity!
Rochelt plays a one-two with Wdowik on the left to get in behind, but his cross is blocked by the backtracking Justvan who has to concede a corner. Yilmaz then clears the ball out of the danger zone with a sliding tackle.

10'
Counter-attack attempt
FCN is primarily trying to establish a stable defence here and score through quick counter-attacks - Antiste and Tzimas secure the ball together, the Greek then drives the ball forward on the right-hand side, but he misses the opportunity to release Castrop on the left. Instead, Hannover clears the situation before it becomes dangerous.

Unusual arrangement
Under Leitl and also in the first two matches under Breitenreiter, Neumann was deployed on the right side of the back three - today he's playing on the other side. In Tomiak's absence, Halstenberg is in the centre, were he played under Leitl, with Knight on the right.

Quick counter-attack
FCN immediately launche a counter-attack, surging forward with Tzimas, but he has too little support and is held up. Hannover get back in position and the counter-attack fizzles out.

Ron-Robert Zieler won the coin toss and opted for kick-off. We're about to begin.
96 return to a back three
André Breitenreiter starts with five natural defenders for the first time in four matchdays. Sei Muroya replaces the suspended Jannik Dehm on the right, Josh Knight comes into the centre for Boris Tomiak, and Bartlomiej Wdowik plays on the left. As a result, number 10 Lars Gindorf moves to the bench. Additionally, Håvard Nielsen starts in the two-man attack instead of Nicolò Tresoldi.
Klose on the attack
Following the goalless draw last week at Hertha Berlin, Nuremberg start with striker Janis Antiste instead of defensive midfielder Rafael Lubach. This makes the entire team's setup slightly more attack-minded.
Hannover starting XI
Zieler - Knight, Neumann, Halstenberg - Muroya, Kunze, Leopold, Wdowik - Rochelt, Nielsen - Ngankam
Nuremberg starting XI
Reichert - Drexler, Knoche, Karafiát - Janisch, Castrop, Jander, Justvan, Yilmaz - Tzimas, Antiste
Miroslav Klose's view on Hannover
"Hannover have already played a few matches under Breitenreiter and we were able to analyse a few things. They will be brave and we are focusing on ourselves. We have a streak going and we want to continue it."
André Breitenreiter's view on Nuremberg
"We want to play like we did in the first matches. We want to be active. Whenever we are active, we control the opponent and are dominant. And then we create many scoring opportunities, which we want to convert."
