Emreli to lead the line
Top scorer Stefanos Tzimas is still missing, and as mentioned, Janis Antiste is not available either. Mahir Emreli therefore starts in attack. The Azerbaijani is in the starting eleven for the first time since January.
Nuremberg team news
Nuremberg must do without Janis Antiste (suspended for a red card) and Caspar Jander (suspended for yellow card acquisition) today. However, the previously suspended Tim Drexler and Jens Castrop are back in the squad. Castrop replaces Jander, Drexler comes into the team for Nick Seidel.

Jan Gyamerah was only a substitute in the last two matches after returning from injury, but this time he displaces Jean Zimmer in the starting XI. Gyamerah played for Nuremberg two years ago, making 53 Bundesliga 2 appearances and scoring three goals.

Daniel Hanslik has served his yellow card suspension and returns to the team in place of Daisuke Yokota.

First-choice goalkeeper Julian Krahl, who has been so strong this season, makes his comeback less than a month after suffering a medial collateral ligament tear on 15th March in Paderborn, having missed only two matches.

Nuremberg coach Miroslav Klose is a Kaiserslautern icon, who started his illustrious career with the club and scored 52 goals in 147 outings. From 2002 to 2004, he played alongside current Lautern coach Markus Anfang, with the latter providing assists for two of Klose's Bundesliga goals.
