Koen Casteels is likely to return to the Wolfsburg goal after sitting out their DFB Cup win on Wednesday while Robin Knoche is the main candidate to replace the suspended Jeffrey Bruma. There are minor doubts over the fitness of Julian Draxler, Vieirinha and Daniel Didavi, with a place on the bench likely for all three.
Julian Brandt and Benjamin Henrichs were both rested for Leverkusen's midweek DFB Cup defeat and should return this weekend. Lars Bender is expected to make way while Admir Mehmedi is set to be preferred over Stefan Kießling up front.
