Players and clubs pay tribute to Soto after horrific injury
Mainz - Having been offered a one-year contract extension only moments after suffering a horrific knee injury in his side's 2-1 loss to Hamburger SV on Matchday 31, 1. FSV Mainz 05 midfielder Elkin Soto had further reason to stay positive after receiving an outpouring of support on social media.
Manchester United FC striker Radamel Falcao was one of many to express his sympathy for "Sultan", a firm fan favourite ever since his arrival at the Rhineland-Palatinate club in 2007.
bundesliga.com took to Twitter to round up the best of the get well soon wishes...
"Elkin, you're not alone, the whole of Columbia is there for you and wants you to overcome this adversity. We love you a lot!!!" reads this tweet by Columbia star Falcao.
