Full-time: Georgia 1-1 Czechia

Another cracker of a game finishes in a 1-1 draw in Hamburg, where Georgia should have won it at the very death but Chakvetadze fires over when 10-yards out and one-on-one with the 'keeper. A glorious chance to make history goes begging and both sides move to one point after two games. Schick (pictured) grabbed the all-important equaliser for his country but the Leverkusen striker later hobbled off injured.

Five minutes added on

A draw's not great for either team here. Five more minutes for someone to grab a winner.

All change

Further substitutions made on both sides, with TSG's Jurásek also making way. All four of the Bundesliga players that started for Czechia are now off the pitch.

Schick replaced

Not a good sight here as Schick hobbles off the pitch and is replaced. He's got his side back into this but that's a major concern for both this game and the remainder of the tournament for Czechia.

Double change Georgia

It's the Georgians' turn to reach into their reserves. Two changes for them as they hope to calm things down. Czechia well on top now.

Schick levels!

Georgia should made it 2-0 on the counter just moments ago but Czechia are now level and it's that man Schick with the goal. The Leverkusen striker pops up at the back post and bundles home his 20th goal for his country.

Černý and Hložek replaced

Two of the four Bundesliga players in Czechia's starting line-up today are replaced just before the hour mark. Both Černý and Hložek have shown glimpses of their best today but they now make way.

Half-time: Georgia 1-0 Czechia

Another excellent half of football in this competition ends with Georgia taking the lead through Mikautadze's penalty in stoppage-time. Hložek earlier had a goal ruled out for handball, while Schick was denied by a brilliant save right at the end of the half. That was great fun.

Georgia in front!

Mikautadze delights Georgia fans once again by converting from 12-yards in first-half stoppage time. It's been all Czechia until now, but Georgia take a lead into the break. Their fans are delirious.

Great save Staněk

Georgia should have the lead. Their captain, Kashia, turns brilliantly in the box and he's just eight yards out but shoots straight at the keeper's legs. We're also taking a look at a potential penalty for Georgia... GIVEN!

Hložek the standout

The Leverkusen man has caused plenty of problems at the back for Georgia. Schick has started to get his feet moving as well, with the two Bundesliga champions beginning to click. Still no opener as of yet, though.

No goal!

... no, he hasn't. Hložek's shot is saved at close range, with the rebound then bouncing off his face and clipping his arm before crossing the line. It's chalked off for handball and the score remains 0-0.

Hložek strikes!

It's not Schick who has got Czechia up and running, but it is his club and country teammate Hložek. Or has he...

Lively start

This has been another blistering start in Hamburg. It's very much in keeping with the rest of the tournament, which has been highly-entertaining.

Can Schick get his side going?

Schick is so often Czechia's talisman and they'll be wanting him to get his - and the team's - campaign up and running today. He only needs a sniff.

Appeal for handball

Černý has a shot on his right foot from the edge of the box, which hits the upper arm of a Georgia defender in the box but there's nothing doing. No penalty.
4'

Double save Mamardashvili

Czechia have flown out the traps and Georgia 'keeper Mamardashvil has to be at his best with two saves from close range. He's then punching clear and parrying a shot to safety moments later. A busy start for Mamardashvili.

Off we go

More on those teams

Georgia make one change as Davitashvili replaces Chakvetadze, but Karlsruhe's Zivzivadze remains in reserve. As for Czechia, they've swapped three players, with the Bundesliga trio of Černý, Hložek and Jurásek all coming into the team to start. With Schick leading the line, it's an all-Bundesliga attack for the Czechs.

Georgia starting XI

Mamardashvili - Kvirkvelia, Kashia (c), Dvali - Kakabadze, Kochorashvili, Mekvabishvili, Tsitaishvili - Davitashvili, Mikautadze, Kvaratskhelia

Czechia starting XI

Staněk - Holeš, Hranáč, Krejčí - Coufal, Provod, Souček (c), Jurásek - Černý, Schick, Hložek

Bundesliga represent

In terms of Bundesliga representation, Czech numbers far outweigh Georgia, who have Karlsruhe's Budu Zivzivadze in their set-up. Bayer Leverkusen's Adam Hložek, Matěj Kovář and Patrik Schick, along with Hoffenheim's David Jurásek and Wolfsburg's Václav Černý are all there for the Czech Republic.

Tale of the tape

This will be the first-ever meeting between these sides, who face off at the Volksparkstadion in the second round of fixtures in the section. Both teams are without a point having lost their opening matches in the tournament.

Hamburg showdown

Hello and welcome to today's coverage of what has been a superb Euro 2024 thus far. The action continues in Group F with Georgia facing Czechia.
