Six goals, six scorers!

Dresden pick up right where they left off in the first half. And again it is a different scorer. Bobzien crosses from the left, Vermeij lets it run and Wagner finishes with his knee to make it 6-0.

Half-time: Rhynern 0-5 Dresden

At half-time, it is essentially all over in Münster. Dresden made no compromises whatsoever from the first whistle and were able to celebrate no fewer than five goals. For the regional league side from Rhynern, this could still turn into a very bitter afternoon.

It's five!

This is not going to end well for Rhynern today. After a brilliant passing sequence, the ball arrives from the left side to the near post, where İnanoğlu only needs to stick out his foot to make it 5-0.

Bobzien strikes again

Having provided the assist for Dresden's third, he now gets on the scoresheet himself. Hauptmann plays the ball through to Bobzien - who is making a run into the penalty area - and he slots it low into the right corner. 4-0 for the visitors!

What a header!

It's 3-0 for Dynamo Dresden! Bobzien crosses the ball from the left flank to the far post, where Vermeij comes running in and nods it home perfectly against the keeper's direction of movement. It looks like there won't be a cup upset in Münster.

The captain strikes again!

A long ball from the Westfalia defence is returned almost immediately. Inanoglu plays Hauptmann in at the edge of the penalty area, who holds off no fewer than three defenders and slots the ball low into the bottom right corner. 2-0 for Dresden, who want to wrap things up early here.

Dresden unchanged

The Saxons are taking the cup and their opponents from the Regionalliga West (fourth-tier) very seriously. Head coach Thomas Stamm sends out the same XI for the match as he did most recently in their 1-0 Bundesliga 2victory against Darmstadt.

Cup debutants

For the first time in the club's history, fifth-tier side Westfalia Rhynern are playing in the DFB Cup having qualified as champions of the Oberliga Westfalen. To give an idea of where they're located, they play in Hamm, a short journey from Dortmund.

Dresden's cup history

Bundesliga 2 side Dynamo Dresden were eliminated by Mainz (1-0 defeat) in last season's DFB Cup. Their best performance came in 1993/94, when they were eliminated by Werder Bremen in the semi-final. They haven't made it past the second round since their elimination against Borussia Dortmund (2-0 defeat) in the last 16 in 2014/15.
