Kömür joined Augsburg's academy from 1860 Munich in 2019 and quickly rose through the club's youth ranks, helping the club win the 2021/22 U19 Bundesliga South/Southwest title before making his senior debut in April 2024. The 6'0" attacking midfielder made his breakthrough the following season, reaching double figures for games in 2024/25.
He cemented his place in the first-team squad in 2025/26, making a further 28 competitive appearances while contributing three goals and four assists. A Germany youth international, Kömür is considered one of Augsburg's brightest prospects.
