VBL Finals: RB Leipzig reclaim VBL Club Championship by WOW
RB Leipzig won the 2024/25 VBL Club Championship by WOW on Sunday after beating Bayer Leverkusen to take the title of German eFootball champions for a record third time.
Unbeaten brothers Marc "Marc_LDW23" and Sean "Sean_LDW07" put Leverkusen 2-0 up in the first of three final matches, only for Leipzig pair "RBLZ_Umut" Gültekin and Anders "RBLZ_Vejrgang" to fight back and secure a 4-2 success.
Sean Landwehr levelled the tie by thrashing Levy Finn "RBLZ_levyfinn" Rieck 6-1 in the first individual final, before Anders Vejrgang edged Marc Landwehr 3-2 in the decisive match-up to secure Leipzig their third VBL Club Championship by WOW. After title wins in 2022 and 2023, Die Roten Bullen are now the competition's outright record winners, ahead of Werder Bremen.
