German eFootball 2026 champions to be crowned
The identity of the German eFootball 2026 club champions will be determined this weekend at the finals of the VBL Club Championship by WOW in Hamburg.
The final will take place on 7 and 8 March at the XPERION Hamburg, inside its MediaMarkt store (Mönckebergstraße 1/4 floor, 20095 Hamburg). Admission is free for everyone. The 16 teams will battle it out in a knockout tournament for the trophy.

The matches will be streamed live on the Virtual Bundesliga Club Championship by WOW's Twitch channel. An English-language broadcast will also be streamed live on the EA SPORTS FC Twitch channel and the EA SPORTS FC Pro YouTube channel. How it works
The final tournament will start without a group stage, unlike in previous years, and will proceed directly to a knockout phase. The seedings from the overall standings will determine the exciting round of 16 clashes between the top eight teams and the clubs winning the play-offs. The team that wins each two-legged tie will advance to the next round.
Prize money
The 2025/26 season features a prize pool of €87,500, which is being distributed among the clubs throughout the season. The largest share of the pool will go to the 2026 German eFootball Club Champions.
Commentators and experts
Experts from the eFootball community will provide commentary and analysis for the final. The German broadcast will feature, among others, "TimLatka," Richard "Gaucho" Hormes, sports commentators Keanu Reimler and Martin Stuber, and former world champion "MoAuba." The international stream on the EA FC and FC Pro channels will feature English commentators Brandon Smith, Richard Buckley and Ryan Pessoa.

Side programme & wildcard tournament
There's a special highlight at XPERION Hamburg - a unique Wildcard Tournament will take place as part of the VBL Open by WOW. On Saturday, all participants have the chance to win one of the last three remaining wildcards for the upcoming VBL Open Playoffs.

For all participants who are eliminated early on Saturday, there's a second chance on Sunday in the Last Chance Qualifier. Great prizes await in the event sponsored by naming rights partner WOW.
In addition, visitors can look forward to a Footbonaut, which will be available on Saturday in front of the MediaMarkt entrance. The best player will receive, among other things, tickets to a Bundesliga match of their choice.
