Bayern Munich youngster Paul Wanner sidelined
Paul Wanner has joined Jamal Musiala, Alphonso Davies and Hiroki Ito on Bayern Munich's injury list after hurting his ankle in the club's friendly against Tottenham Hotspur earlier this week.
Wanner, who assisted the fourth goal scored by Jonah Kusi-Asare in Bayern's 4-0 rout of Spurs, suffered a minor ligament injury in his left ankle during the match, the club confirmed.
The 19-year-old, who had a successful loan spell at Heidenheim in 2024/25, was making his second pre-season appearance for Bayern following a 45-minute outing against Lyon.

Bayern's statement added that Wanner will sidelined "for the time being", with a return date as of yet unknown.
Wanner had helped Germany's U21 side reach the Euros final this summer before returning to club duties with Bayern in pre-season.
